Could someone tell me what the ranks mean? What are the benefits of each rank (pesant, daimyo, shogun, kampaku, and emporer)
does giving rank hand over control to others, if so how much?

That is in every dynasty different, the emp (most of the time also the founder of the dyn) is the boss/king /highest rank or whatever you call ,off the dynasty, and he or she is making some rules whit the kampaku (right hand of the emp)
In most of the dynasty’s, are some shoguns with a task who are helping the emp and the kampaku,(in our dyn it calls leaderships group)
Peasant is a member who most of the time just joined.
Daimyo is most of the time a member who is a bit longer in dynasty and clicks better.
And shogun are most of the time good clickers and longer in dynasty and have a good ave.
Shoguns also can do more things as the other ranks, shoguns can accept new members in dynasty, and give them peasant status.
The rank peasant also is used when a member 1 or 2 days not is clicking, the emp or kampaku can than change his rank from daimyo back to peasant, than his clicks are not counting when yarolds is reset, so it hurt not the ranking from the dynasty.
but what I say, all emps have other rules, but most of the time it is working like this.
for example see my rules for ranking

I see, thank you for that. But how exactly does that work? Is there feature where I can set what different ranking members can and cannot do, or do I have to place my trust in the members to follow my rules?

When you read the topic off my rules you see that i made my own rules, every dynasty has their own rules.
But when you have so much questions, i am asking my self, why are you emp?
how can you answer the questions from your members if you not understand your self all things?

Hay, go easy on me! I'm actually new even though I'm emperor. Remember that all you need to create a dynasty of your own is 199.99 credits (or something like that, I can't remember the exact amout).
