A friend of mine just registered on Yarold's, but he couldn't put the referrall's name anywhere.

Is this some kind of a bug?

He's not suppose to put a referral name anywhere.

He has to sign-up using the referral link from his friend.

Re-using this old topic because I don't want to make a new one.

If I open the tab "Referral" from my profile page, there's no info there, but also no buttons to create a link for a friend of mine to sign up.
Is the referral link a VIP option, or is it available for anyone?

Under referral tab, only your referrals show.

You can find your referral link at the bottom of the Account tab.

Maybe we should also put it on the referral page. It's well worth to have active referrals on the site.

It appears to be open to anyone. I'm not VIP but using the information on this thread, I set up a referral link in a blog post I wrote and had a few people sign up from there. So it's working for me.

I wouldn't have realized how to refer people, however, if not for what I read here. So it might be a good idea to make this information more available to help get the referrals coming in!
