Recently my computer has lost a lot of short term memory retention. If I don't click a minicity link in ten minutes I have to re download all the ads and everything else.

When Yarolds refreshes it can take 2-3 minutes.

I live out in the sticks and only have 26k dial up, but until a week ago things were much faster.

My virus protection is up to date and system scans don't seem to help.

I've got tons of space unused on my hard drive.

Anybody got any suggestions to fix the problem? I don't know computers that well, but I'm guessing it is a problem isolated to my machine.

Any help would be appreciated

Maybe it's your browser settings?
I think you're using IE for Yarold right?
Try go to "Tools->"Internet Options"
At the "Browsing History" click the "Settings"

If Disk Space is too low try up a bit(not too much)
Check Newer versions of stored pages should be "Automatically"

Or maybe you can try other browsers and test it. If the other browsers also act the same way maybe it's not a browser settings problem.

Try using the Firefox browser, with the Adblock and Flashblock add ins! So much less stuff to download (especially on dialup).

Also you can get snaplinks which makes all your clicking go faster too!
