Ok, so I deleted all my links to put new ones on before reset. The link page wouldn't load and then reset happened so now I only have one active link available for this day. Why is it done like this? It doesn't make any sense.

have you try to click on profile, and see if there opens an other slot?

Yes, it does that but it's not active. It just says "changing to new". I've already tried a couple of days ago putting links into them once they say that instead of active, but they get absolutely no clicks at all.

From what I've been able to notice (from the tutorial screenshots and my own link page), while VIPs see all their link slots when they go to their profile, non VIPs only see the slots where there is already something (active), something happening (changing to new/deleting) and one single empt y slot.

When you want to add new links, you have to do it in an empty slot, you can NOT add a new link in a slot where you just deleted a link (set as deleting), but once you have added a new link, a new empty slot should appear to let you add yet another one. Of course, the actual addition will only happend after the next reset, in the mean time they will appear as "changing to new".

That's the part I don't understand. Why is it only added after reset? Why not just make it automatic?

It's added after reset to keep people from in effect having unlimited slots. Many people have taken advantage of the average system by replacing their links throughout the day after they've been clicked on, which doubles their links. This helps others bloat their averages.

So, if you don't have a link in any slot, you can add one immediately. If you do have a link in the slot and you want to change it, or you already have links and want to add a new one, it won't go into effect until the next day.

Why not program it so that deleting the links won't give clicks BUT would still move on to the next day i.e. it'll be active instead of changing to new once reset happens? I lose hundreds of credits in a matter of minutes just because I need to put links on right before reset to get several active links for the next day.

I don't quite get what you mean but you don't have to put links right before reset. Just anytime before reset will do since anything you add won't have any effect until next reset.

For example:
You have a minicity.in link. You think that you don't want this link anymore. You can add in the new one to replace it at that time you wanted to change. But minicity.in will still be active and can be clicked(when it said it's changing to new) until the next reset. And it'll also change to the new link during reset so you don't need to delete and add in new one.
So you don't really have to add them just before reset. You can add them anytime you like since any changes will only happen during reset.
