As i knew nothing about this HAT thing when it came up on the screen instead of the link that i clicked,i naturally did not fill it in as i assumed it was just more Virus ********** that i keep getting from this site. I think your HAT is stupid!!!!
Just an observation, but this test seems to be having the opposite reaction of your intentions. I have heard from so many people that said that they always clicked the required 2nd click, and are so angry about the test, that now they will not.

I don't understand this philosophy at all. If people were clicking the continue links and such to ensure that people got credit for the clicks, why would they then punish those people for something that the administrators implemented?
Because they are angry at being MADE to jump through hoops? Because they were good and honest clickers, and now if they miss some, they are being punished? Like I said, just an observation about the feedback from many people that I'm getting on it. This test doesn't work the same way for all people depending on which browser they use and how they click links. I miss them lots of times because I choose to use IE for yarold's, and I speed click through minicity links, especially during our happy hour. Not to sound like a broken record, but why would this test appear on things that don't require 2nd clicks? If it only appeared on them, I would be at 100%.
For some sites you need to enter certain digits to help the user. (I only remember that this is the case for Forwar, Futureminicity,...).
So if you want to help them you got to enter the numbers and letters, and if you don't, you won't help that much.
This is why I don't understand the complaints. Either you want to help someone and enter the digits (then you won't fail when a HAT appears and you'll be rewarded) or you decide not to help everyone (why should you get a reward then?)
And if the ones are honest clickers, then they will surely help each other, won't they?

Because we have limited amount of admins.
880 link types vs 5 admins
I understand the reasoning I just wasn't expectiing it! I always wait till things load to look at everyone elses stuff. But I never filled anything in and now I'm hurting because of it!

What is your care rating at currently? I can tell you how many tests you need to pass to get all links to show again if you'd like.
What I don't think is fair is the fact that this test is hurting the people who have Dragcave links. Dragcave does not require any further action and since I have one, not many people can click them, thus not helping my dragons. Dragcave only requires clicks into the scroll, views are optional.
In my experience, HAT appears 2-3 times a day (in average - sometimes less, sometimes more).

I haven't noticed if the credit is wasted, but the original link, if still available is greyed out on the page when refreshed and can be clicked.
If the user does a refresh, he still can see your link and click it. Thus you won't get less clicks for your links

My new philosophy is one click only rather than the multiple I used to give dragons and that is if I continue to even CARE! Mind you I still wait for the click counted rather than scuttle of quickly when done comes up and that is something CARE does nothing to check just like whether anyone clicks on in myminicity.in and judging by last nights figures that's way less than 50%
It's not what you do, it's the way that you do it!
Admins... this is not for me, but for the sake of those who started out using snaplinks and opened multiple windows at once with only 1 test passing for a success (7 or 8 for me on the first morning, 2 later in the day) and for those whose English was not good enough to understand what was required, would you increase the frequency of the tests so people have a chance to fix the problem?
Suggestion for next test: Instead of a box where you type anything, actually ask for a code.
I think most of us know what this test is about. If not, it can be looked up in the forum (maybe it should be added to the faqs to have a short idea what the HAT is, otherwise you have to read a few pages of posts to find it out).

Well, if they simply open&close tabs and don't do the test, how could that help?

Hm, they can look it up in the forum. But I have to admit that I needed some time, too, to figure it out. But now there's so much written about the HAT (including pictures) that it can be understood quite well.
And if someones English isn't well, I'm sorry for him/her, but more HATs won't help him/her either.

It might work. But I don't know how much work it requires to implement it and if it is wanted to change it.

Snap links is a tool used to open tabs, it does not close them. I use snap links and from day one I have practiced looking at just about every window. The quote above was about the fact that when the HATs were first implemented they opened multiple HATs but only one could be successful, giving people a false score if they even understood it correctly in the first place.

Since English is a germanic language as well and you appear to be from Germany, it was likely not as hard for you as for some others. We are talking about fixing something for those less fortunate than yourself who did not understand, do not comprehend English well enough to read this forum and understand it. Since they can now see the links hidden due to care, they have sought people out to explain and as it dawns on them what they need to do they have quite an uphill battle to climb.

Just want to negate everything today don't you? Supplying a code is what a few of the games require. The test could implement clicking a word that appears twice. The reason I put supply a code is because leaving a box with the words "type anything in the box below" left a lot of players closing the window initially. I did type "anything in the box below" just like it told me in the second HAT I ever had, but I still died. The suggestion was not meant for you but for the admins who can use or ignore it as they wish, just as they can the request for more frequent tests. I would be curious to know what harm it would cause you if people receive 2 tests an hour rather than 1. As to the amount of work required, the admins know their jobs and they have told us there will be different tests in the future so you do not need to worry about it.
Wow, what's bitten you? No need to react in this way. It's just my opinion, as well as you can have yours. But if my post sounded to harsh and offended anyone, I apologize of course.

Didn't know that. I thoght every HAT counts, even if several appear at the same time.

I can't do anything about the fact that English is used as the international language. Of course it's hard for them, but look around: Here are so many guys who are willing to help when there is a problem. You helped me at too, when the HATs appeared for the firtst time. And now everything is really explained well, even with pictures. And if necessary, the admins will help too, even though they have a lot to do, I'm sure.

Well, I'm not against the idea of having to insert a certain code, don't know how you come to that. As already said, it might help. Due to the fact that I don't know very much about programming, I think it could be quite difficult to realize that, but it needn't to. But if (and how) it is realized is up to the admins.
But I'd rather prefer to change the appearence of the HAT then to increase the amout of HATs.
Btw, PM for you, ppj2005
