Would it be possible to have the history box shown in non-VIPs profiles?
For non-VIPS it would still be uncheckable like it is now but I think it would be good to have there so that non-VIPS know that their links are still shown in History.
As it is now it's so confusing for most that come to the site and they think their other links are hidden when really they are not.
So maybe have it in their profiles but greyed out?

I hope this will not be judged as thread necromancy, but I agree. Some newbies do not know about History and trying to explain them that History eats credits too is quite hard when they do not see any "History" box and such. Making the History box visible in all the profiles, but uncheckable only for VIPs is a good idea.
