I really do not see how it was harming anything, it allowed me to put a little more content into my shortnote than is other wise possible without stretching the page, breaking the table or getting in my neighbors way whatsoever, it's standard code and as long as I didn't have a ton of stuff within it where's the harm? It seemed perfectly reasonable to me, I'd just like a little clarification as to why it was considered a bad thing.

edit: gave the short note rules another read just to be sure I did not miss a change or something and no where in there does it state that a scroll box is bad.

if you need the extra space, you should probably just use the popup.

That maybe the case Sci, but short notes are just that. SHORT. if it cant fit into the space provided use the popup, not a scroll box
