The risk is yours to take, if you don't want to get a virus from clicking links I suggest you get a decent firewall / virus protection etc.
Or simply don't click the link that you beleive are giving you these problems.

Do you have any virus protection or a firewall? I've never had a problem with PBG links. I have McAfee virus protection and firewall, they're not to expensive. I'm assuming others works just as well also.

Check your computer for ad-warre and spy-ware, I think that's your problem.

I run Mozilla Firefox (free download browser) with AdBlock and Cookie culler. I also use SpyBlaster (free) Spybot Search and Destroy (free) Sygate firewall with Etrust anti-virus (all free). In almost 1 year of Yarold's I've Never picked up a virus. Have had to deal with some nasty pop-unders, but I upgraded to the new firefox and it's been quite a while since any have shown up.

All these things I used before coming to Yarold's - not because of this site. Also, if you must use IE - disable all Active X, which appears to be a backdoor for some major nuisance spyware/malware/adware.
