i put in other cities for my extra links, friends who aren't on link exchanges and will enjoy a little boost in numbers. that way a city i care about is growing from the clicks, even if it's not my own.

all day today i am getting errors on outwar links. they say:

"Unable to obtain lock. Please try your request again later. Code 1"

i've tried leaving them open over an hour, but it's still the same.

other people having the same issue, or is it something my computer is block? they did work before, just not today.

*nod* reset is at 10 pm here, so easy for me to do. it's jsut frustrating that by the time i can get enough clicked to have the < limit > gone from the bottom of the page, they've often gone to -1 :/

thanks!

i'm doing my best to click every link in dynasty, link exchange, and history (and am online quite a many hours a day), but i still can't find enough links most days to hit 400.

are there tricks to make more links show before they drop to -1? or a way to get some links to show first? should i be doing the link exchange before the dynasty, for instance? (it seems my the time i can get to the bottom ally, they're mostly -1 already).

tips? pointers? suggestions? heffalumps?

i'd just figured that out -- but i'm glad for confirmation, since i'm still feeling all "doh" in the head

can only one's own dynasty mates see dynasty only links, or can one's dynasty's allies also see and click them?

ETA: doh, i could have looked in my history and compared names.

answer? yes, allies can see dynasty-only links.

~rainbow the slow and easily confused

i've been trying that and so far it hasn't worked. i'll keep trying if that has the best chance of working sometimes, though.

thanks!

no, for me the minicities load with the minicities' address in the address bar, so i can hit refresh til it loads, and i do (sometimes it does take 4-5 refreshes lately; other times it goes thru on the first try).

it's the sites that open up with the yarold's address still in the address bar that i can't top that i can't figure out how to refresh so that they'll get credit.

very frustrating.

today it's outwar i'm getting a lot of errors on.

i've tried reloading just the inside frame, but that doesn't resolve anything. if i reload the entire page i get "you've already visited this trap" -- is there anything else i can do so that the person will get credit on their link?
