I find topics like this interesting so I will add my 2 cents. I came here to support a few cities I had with MMC. I ended up joining MMC Mob because several of the cities I was familiar with on the exchange sites were already there. I rose slowly in the group, not really aware of the dynamics of Yarold's. Eventually this site became as interesting to me as any other game I played online. I am not in a dynasty right now (returned recently after a long break) but my loyalty has always been with the MMC Mob.

I am not sure to what you are referring. If you click 0... it does not hurt your average anymore being kicked than belonging to the dynasty. If you are going on holiday and plan to click while on vacation... stay, even if you are not clicking the average. We do not require people to click our average. We are often pointed to as the "strict" "mean" dynasty but our standards right now fall below those who make the accusations.

I still do not know if that answers your question or not. Clarify the question for me if it does not.

No it doesn't matter. As long as you are getting the clicks you want or desire for your link. There is no contest to see who can accumulate the most credits, although it sometimes appears people attempt to do that. We have top clicker contests not to encourage accumulation of credits, but to encourage the growth of the dynasty's average.

On one hand, do we not have enough link slots? I could perhaps offer an apartied soluition of sorts. perhaps one or two link slots designated on this list specifically as happy hour slots. My major concern is the unfair boosting of a dynasty making those who work hard and fair as so many do a worthless endeavour. To be the best you have to beat the best but does cheating to do it?.. or skirting a rule in the CoC I think its unmber 6?.. really.. you know what I mean?


If you refer to what RMV did to boost their numbers, the question of whether it is a violation of the CoC should have already been answered by admins. It was pointed out to them and because nothing corrective was done it appears it does not violate the CoC. That would leave the same option open to all other dynasties who want to employ such methods. It was discussed by MMC Mob but we have chosen not to employ such methods.

As for happy hour there is nothing wrong with showing extra links for 1 hour in the day. This is not manipulative of the system in any way and has been done on the site long before I ever came here (just reading the forum tells me that).

As for a change in the way dynasty averages are calculated... I do not see why it cannot be based on a 10 day average like our personal averages. I recall the posting here where Metalteo said our personal averages have some weight in the calculation but I do not know the purpose of that. As was said before, knowing how averages for the dynasties are being calculated now would help us determine what kind of change might be best.

I am not sure how often they update their stats to determine what your city needs. An admin will have to answer this for you.

You can do 600 one day and the next day 0. The average is 300 in two days.

This is the same for two weeks.

Any day you do 0 clicks you are looked at pretty hard by the person determining who should be kicked. If there is a day you cannot click at all, you might as well leave the dynasty and rejoin when you can click.

If you only want to increase your population you need to change where it says Use Handle? to NO. If you leave it on yes (the default) it will automatically determine what your city needs.

The answer to this is actually NO. You have 14 slots to fill. However, if you erase the 14 links and put 14 new links, there are 14 new links to click. If you do this you presumably have endless links.

Before they limited the links to 14 on the profile, you could put more in. I have 22 slots filled in and yes, I have left them out all day before.
