I use a preinstalled Vista on my laptop, which is the one I use most. It *******, so as soon as I get some time, I'll probably install a Linux version on it too.

Linux ftw!

The rules also say that you can only have 1 account person. This means you can not make another account on another IP. When you use these multies to transfer all credits to your other account, this is unfair credits hoarding. You DENY other users to return the click and earn the credit back.

THis is a link exchange NOT a credit exchange. Stay with 1 account per person.

With regards to getting a new IP each time you turn on/off your modem/router. The IP Address you receive is one your ISP assigns you from a DNS Server within it's own internal network from which you get routed to the www. These IP's are generally dynamic with relatively short leases so it appears that you get a new IP with each reconnect.
The reason for this is that most of the internet still uses IPv4. There are a limited number of addresses available with IPv4 so 99.99% of all users connect through their ISP's IP address which is the IP that is visible externally.

What does this have to do with anything?

You didn't answer my question, Metalteo. Maybe I should rephrase it.

Is it allowed to have two persons with different accounts clicking from the same IP?

Metalteo, what's the policy about this? Should multiple account's within the family like this be allowed since it's probably the same IP being used by both(as why you suspect both accounts being the same, I guess)?

I understand that. Why would it go from hidden to not (in the dynasty) after I clicked on it on the main page? Hidden in the dynasty is supposed to be a hidden dynasty link, which is unacceptable for us.

It's still the same link. If it is clicked, it doesn't show up. Sure, I'd like that to change as well.

I'm sorry, but this simply doesn't make any sense. In my case, I have a member (chemister) who has not been online for hours. His link was hidden in the dynasty, he clicked pretty well today, and I was dissapointed that I was going to have to kick him. After I saw his link on the main page, I clicked on it, was going to warn him in his city, but checked again, and in the dynasty page it was no longer hidden. What am I missing?

Since you clicked it on the main page, it was set to be shown on main and not dynasty. After you clicked it, the dynasty page see that you have clicked the link somewhere and decides to give you a blank row instead of <hidden>. However I don't know if the click counts as a dynasty click or not.

I'm getting a lot of blank rows in history even though I've set to hide links without links. Any explanation?

Edit: Nvm, I had set All links and HAT to "No". Bye :)

Lotto also has referrals too, this might explain how lotto can get so many credits. They not all come from tickets that are bought.[/color]

What are you talking about? Lotto seems to get no credits. Jackpot is on -1000000.

Good. :) But what about this scenario: You got 10 links in your profile, none is checked for main/dynasty except for 1. If someone clicks that link, will he see the rest of the 9 links in history?

If you have 10 active links which is not checked for main or dynasty in your profile, and click someone, then he will see all of those links in the history. (If I'm not mistaken)

As long as a link is "active" (not necessarily checked in the main and dynasty boxes), they show up in history, which is where your credits went away.

I'd say, no test appeared. He wants them to appear so he can fix the percentage.

It could possibly be true, what stompi says. It can be the same thing that happen in the morning, when all links gets reset before the site goes down, and reset the links again. That's two resets and if you're quick enough, you might be able to catch a few links. Last time I saw this was this morning.

You should be able to have more than four rows. ppj2005 has atm 5 rows.

A little more information from the admins of what's going on would be appreciated. You got the mail-system. Send out news about new features and information through it! When was the "HowTo" last updated?
