You must have options to make life easier for all peoples of the world.

The site is universal.

I agree to keep the traditions of the names today, but that does not preclude any other technical options to keep the members in the dynasty without the need to exclude them.

That is cause for cancellation of alliances.

Today could be in my dynasty with more than twenty members, but had to delete most of them because of pressure from other dynasties in alliances.

A lot of people bounce around from dynasty to dynasty and are always negative. Why keep them when it is obvious they won't even attempt to stay positive and no reworking of this site will get them to stay positive. I've seen several people that are always negative but are always in a dynasty so it isn't as if they are being deprived of being in a dynasty. My thinking is that if you can figure out how to sign up at Yarold's and then join a dynasty, you should easily be able to figure out how to stay positive.

One point I see that you are overlooking is that when a dynasty forms an alliance with another dynasty, the emperors of the two dynasties are agreeing to each other that there will be an exchange of links between the two dynasties. You talk about fairness however if you as Emperor are collecting a group of people which can't be clicked on, you are being unfair to the dynasties you allied with if they are staying positive for you.

An occasional negative here and there is acceptable and understandable to just about everyone but when it gets to something like a third or more of the dynasty who can't be clicked because of negative and hidden links and it is always the same people, that is not understandable nor acceptable, at least to me.

Sounds good to me. I know they must have some of the same issues trying to figure out some of these games. Thanks

Frames are added everywhere where it is possible

Many of the frames simply say "Please wait until your click is counted" which really doesn't tell people what to do, especially when the page being brought up is in an unfamiliar language. It would be much more helpful to include additional instructions for all the framed pages rather than just the generic "please wait" message.

I realize it adds more issues for you and the staff to deal with but if a new game comes along (even some of the existing games) and I don't know what to do with it, I am forced to pass on completing it since I'm not going to just click randomly or fill out some line when I don't know what I'm doing with it. I'm sure there are others that are forced to do the same.

At least many of the games use the same template style so it is kind of easy to figure out but some of them I have no clue what to do with them or even know if it is a game (some look more like portal sites than games).

I do enjoy the Happy Hours. Yes, they can be frustrating at times but they can also be fun.

I see nothing wrong with a little friendly competition between dynasty members as well as between dynasties. Happy Hours do encourage that. How boring would it be here without the competition? I used to do some of the other link exchanges out there and I found them to be extremely boring, especially the automated click sites. Yarold's is a different kind of site than most of the other link exchange sites.

At least here there is much more interaction with other people and that is mainly due to the friendly competition between people and dynasties. And before it is said, I know, some people take the competition to levels beyond friendly however, most don't.

I do agree to a point that Happy Hours do cause issues with action links not getting followed through but then again, with UniCreatures for example, I only usually get less than a 20% follow through even in non-HH periods on the dynasty page (well over 75% when posted on main). I really don't see those numbers changing if Happy Hours were eliminated.

A Poveste de Cartier' link is displaying out of a frame and not counting after being clicked nor is it clearing off the dynasty page. The page the link displays is for "Joc online multiplayer GRATUIT - joc browser based" even though it lists as "Poveste de Cartier' " on the dynasty page.

Thanks to whoever corrected the problem. Those particular links are counting now.

It has been acting up on me the past few day but yesterday and today it seems to have corrected itself and is loading quickly again and without any problem.

It is possible they had a malformed script on the page. It was irritating to say the least but it seems to be working again.

My A/V program didn't report a problem but the logs show it was analyzing the Lord of the Lands page for an excessively long period so there was some issue it didn't like.

Not always. It is hit and miss if the "pupil" counts as far as I can see. I've made accounts, did the captchas, watched the fights, went to that toons page and looked at the teachers. Sometimes my pupil gives them a credit for a new student, sometimes they don't. If you don't get the credit for someone creating a new student, you aren't going to get credit for that particular pupil leveling up either.

I'm not sure how LaBrute/My Brute handle new students. If based off of cookies, IP addys or what, I don't know but there is no guarantee that a new student created will actually count towards credits for the teacher.

I like this idea, in fact was thinking about it the other day after getting a HAT and then trying to figure out where on the list of 100 links that link which spawned the HAT was.

It shouldn't be a difficult change to make.

Personally I think the samurai ranking names here are rather unique and help lend to the charm of the place.

Military ranking is so common among numerous games and for forum ranking based on posts that it gets a little boring in my opinion.

An extra rank I think would be good.

Same here. All I get is the site reset screen with chat window (which I can't connect to).

edit

It's up now. 20 minute reset. Something was being worked on probably.

I don't see the big problem with the frame going away personally. Most of the time, the "Your click has been counted" was displayed and the DC page still hadn't loaded up completely or at all. Many occasions it could be a good 2-3 minutes before the images loaded in. Most people would have clicked the page closed anyway long before that point and the eggs/hatchlings still wouldn't have gotten their views.

I like that idea. I just spent about 20 minutes deleting older mail and still have quite a few left that need deleted.

The Phantasy RPG game has a <LIMIT> that displays on any Phantasy RPG link that exceeds the single click you are allowed to make in a day so you don't have links sitting around. Is there any way that this or something similar can be done for Yer Hotel?

I ask this as many people now have multiple links for Yer Hotel and sometimes they stay up for hours waiting to be clicked, keep reappearing as people unhide them to fill the hotel up and so on.

Yesterday, I had over 10 of these links being displayed for hours because I couldn't click them since I can only do 1 every 6 hours. Clicking is becoming a royal pain anymore with more and more of these 6 hour links hanging around. Changing IP's is just as much of a pain for me since I have several programs that require constant connections or I get error messages galore so please don't tell me to reset my DSL modem several times an hour to get a fresh IP address to get around the Yer Hotel timer.

All I'm asking is to see if there is anyway the programmers here can set it to display <LIMIT> or something like that for these links during the waiting period so the link itself isn't being displayed. It makes clicking a pain having them up all the time.

Man I miss the tons of PokePlushies 5 minute links. They weren't near as annoying as these Yer Hotel links are becoming.

There have been problems recently with Dragon Cave not loading properly due to server problems at DC. At least DC seems to be working much better today than it has been in the past couple weeks at least.

When the page doesn't load properly at the game server, the click on that link still counts against your credits as long as the link URL passed successfully through the link exchange here.

Hmm seems to be some kind of new problem now with this....either that, or people are just skipping, or not able to use it due to Yarrold timer.....

Had hotel link up for an hour now, and only ONE visit.

Before today, Every day I put the link up for a couple mins, I could fill a WHOLE, empty hotel in about 10 minutes the same way.

This only started today. Not sure what's going on....other than credits dropping.

It's the timer. I can't click yours since I still have over 4 hours to wait on the timer and there were at least 2 Yer Hotel links up less than an hour before yours come up today so most people already clicked on one of the earlier links.

Just tossing my 2-cents in here.

I wouldn't mind the timer so much for Dragon Cave is there weren't so many people with links to it. Last night I counted about 75 DC links on the dynasty page. I tried the idea of opening up a bunch of them and letting them sit until they went through. What ended up with was around 60 being counted and the rest "Sorry, user has no credits left". Besides, to me, it is just a royal pain having a bunch of tabs sitting there waiting to go through while still clicking on other links.

Maybe DC needed to upgrade itself before flooding the cave with special eggs. Anyone could have seen the potential server problem with how they distribute eggs there, especially with snaplinks being available (no wonder I never was able to get any of the good eggs as I didn't use snaplinks to grab a stack like others were doing).

At least with PP and other timed links, there aren't near as many of them to deal with as there are with the DC links.

I don't mean their dynasty click count, I mean their personal click count which counts as their personal credits.

If I'm wrong and mis-understood that the personal click count wouldn't be reset from the clicks made on the dynasty page, I apologize but from what I've seen from a few jumpers in Yarold's so far, the personal click count (credits) doesn't seem to be reset. If you click 300 links on a dynasty page, the person retains those 300 credits on his personal cedits when he leaves a dynasty. Only the dynasty count is reset when the person joins another dynasty, not the personal credits obtained.

What I can easily see happening with an automatic acceptance into a dynasty would be a new class of people who would just hop multiple times a day from dynasty to dynasty just to increase their personal click count from the dynasty alliance link page while not benefiting any of the dynasties the person used.

It happens now to a point already but with auto-accept, it would become very common to have this happen.

Personally I find it in bad taste to mail someone already in a dynasty just to try and recruit them for another dynasty. I've had a few such mailings. It just lowers my opinion of the "recruiting" dynasty and if I ever chose to change dynasties in the distant future (unlikely to happen), the dynasties that tried to lure me out wouldn't be on the list of ones I would want to join.

I don't see any reason to change the mail system over it though.

One would think that if the elimination of dynasties was done on purpose, there would have been an official notice that it was going to happen. My thinking is that it was an unintended problem that developed from the changes earlier in the day resulting from the changes made to how dynasty averages are done.

Hopefully the site can be reset.
