Would it be possible to suggest a way to mass delete unead mails? Sorta like how you select messages here in the forum. It's a pain in the butt to have to go though and delete the mails one by one to make room in outbox.

Love the update but I still wish there was a way to delete unsent mails like on the forums. A smaller outbox space wouldn't matter then since deleting mails would be so much easier.

join the stop the spam dynasty. A dynasty is just a place where you can get more links to click.

where are you clicking on yarolds? are you trying to click links in other people's profiles? If so then that is probably why. The pages you should be clicking from is main link exchange, and history exchange

I don't get how is finally buckling down and actually stop being so lenient on inactive double zeros giving the new sorting importance? It's what i usually do, though I haven't been actually doing that lately. That's what i meant when I said the only change I'll make is a tougher policy on inactive newbies, being kicked after 3-4 days of inactivity. It's still business as usual.

Ok fine. I admit it. Maybe I'm giving it importance, by kicking low avg inactives. But isn't that what has always been done in the past? I don't know if trying to increase mem min avg of all members is giving the new default sort any importance. The default sort does play a role in how we are seen by casual joiners. So I guess that gives the new sorting importance too. But I'm also staying big at 72-74 members and working to increase the mem min avg of the peasants that will in turn increase the min avg of the the dynasty. If that's giving the new sort importance then fine. I'm just merely trying to improve the click efficiency of wolfpack. And still recruiting newbies to wolfpack as can be seen by the recent newbie joiners . Call it whatever you wish. It's still business as usual. Inactives get pruned for new joiners.

Sorry to have gotten everyone so upset. I'm supportive of whatever change yarolds deems worthy to dish out. The rest of us will just have to adapt and try our best.

I don't know about giving it more importance by that action, I only know it has been a procedure that was carried out in the past when it was based on min avg. If the newbie hasn't clicked in 4 days without warning in advance, I don't know why I would keep them there when they aren't active. All I would be doing is actually following though on the 4 days no click policy factoring in weekends and removing them for new folks instead of being lazy about it and being too soft to kick. Do I, in order not to give the default sort importance, I must wait till the system marks them as inactive to kick them?

if it makes you feel any better, the change isn't good for wolfpack either. We were sorted at 2nd place with the old default sorting. We were sorted as the 6th dyn yesterday with the new change. Today we're 4th. The only thing we can do is try to adapt to the new change and make the best of it. Or ignore the change lol. It's the only thing we can do. And think of a tactic to work with the new change. With time and a little credit boost those peasants could rise up and end up with a high min avg. And in turn increase the team's own min y day score ten fold The one change will be for me , is a tougher policy on inactive newbies, being kicked after 3-4 days of inactivity

then we need a update that says:
max: 4 big dynastys in 1 ally (big dynasty =50 or more members)
unfortunately all small dynasties have a chance of growing. Pick of the bunch was small not too long ago and now is pushing 50. And big dynasties can shrink and turn into a small dynasty.

;) Lonewolf was still emp on March 1st when we reached that fateful milestone where we lost by 2 points in the top 15 contest to busters for 2nd place finish but we came out of the feb 2011 month as overall 2nd ranked top dynasty.

And you clearly missed my 2nd post, "Lonewolf and I and our helpful shoguns"

;) all our allies helped us reach where we are now. So of course we wouldn't like to drop them, but I'm resigned to the fact that we can't ally all no matter how much we wish that was so. A few years ago, this was also the case, forgive me if i remember wrong, but back then no one could ally everyone, there were too many dyns to ally with them all. Only reason everyone was able to ally with everyone was because dynasties disappeared and soon there were only a few strong ones left. Many dynasty names I remember aren't here anymore, like Respect, russian mafia, j4f, thriving dragons ,rmv and etc. When an ally disappears, it is understandable the emp searches out for a new ally to ally with.

My post was merely trying to point out that wolfpack, now overall 2nd ranked dynasty was once a 2 man dynasty that slowly grew in size and moved up in rank, despite not being at the top of the list.

my point is wolfpack used to be at the bottom of the ladder, behind ubc, busters, net freaks, mini ming and j4f and yes even immc at one point.

Based on your explanation, a small dynasty with such low ranking would have a hard time of expanding in size and growing if we just relied on spontaneous joiners. We didn't sit back and wait for people to join us. Instead we went out and mailed those not in a dynasty and asked them to join us. It took 7 months of hard recruiting, mailing by lonewolf and I and our helpful shoguns to members not in a dyn in main. We trained our newly taught members to be teachers when we felt they were ready. They went out eager to help the team and recruited their own friends. And we grew to size 59. My current kampaku? I went and recruited her from another site i met her in. it's up to the emps and leadership to mentor and teach their members to be the very best. I picked up a member that was a multi dyn reject and now? She's one of my good clickers. All it takes is time, teaching, mailing and recruiting. You guys could have done the same.

This new update has made it easier for you to recruit.

Sorry to bring the what?

Fair play is a number of members with 75 in the Dynasty just not possible!

The first 3 are thus always at an advantage!

The other dynasties have only members that have been thrown out by the first three due to inaction!

Where this is fair play?

Fair play for me would be a limit to a maximum of 60 members :!:
I beg to differ. 2 years ago this July, (July 10th 2010) wolfpack was brand new and newly started, as a two man team. With a lot of hard work and sweat Lonewolf and I brought wolfpack to 2nd place overall ranking in March 1st 2011. We've since pretty much held the position steady more or less, losing 2nd place overall ranking sometimes but never for long, fought back and re-claimed 2nd place. Climbed up and beat seasoned clickers and now we have 68 members. Anyone can build a strong dynasty. All it takes is determination and hard work. I spent much time recruiting and building my dynasty.

As you have experienced from zooreka links, which have the same issue as magistream links regarding clicks not registering, a timer will not work. We still got that annoying popup. Zooreka links used to have a timer, but has since been removed. If someone shows their zooreka link in an HH flashflood, person still does not get the full amount of clicks they gain to their links but instead will annoy fellow members doing HH. All a timer will do in ms's case is annoy the heck out of fellow yarolds players and not do a lick of good for the ms link owners.

Old thread by mushpark : http://yarold.eu/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6063

we know from past history a timer will not work on this type of restriction, so please don't suggest we put a useless timer that will not solve a thing for ms players but only serve to annoy everyone on yarolds with the sheer amount of timer links.

;) A always positive dynasty might not be the best dyn. Because those members might be hoarders and sitting on credits doing nothing with them. Wouldn't you call that hoarding? Wouldn't you say a good neg who receives as much as he clicks and doesn't have a penny to his name a good model citizen of yarolds since he has no credits sitting in his account? or is he bad because he is neg? i don't get you. 1st you say you hate hoarders and people sitting on credits doing nothing with them, now you spout this hate on neg members, who are really being model citzens of yarold city.

With magistream coming back to yarolds, wolfpack has experienced a severe lack of space for returning shoguns and clickers, I merely see the extra space as extra breathing room, so I can let good folks back in. I'm still remaining close to size 60. Bad clickers still get cycled out and kicked. l welcome this change as it gives me more breathing room.

yay! I finally have room for returning shoguns! ._. I was forever at my wits end worrying about kicking newer members to make room so returning shoguns had room to rejoin. Wolfpack isn't the best dynasty. But we're bursting at the seams and not enough room for returning shoguns and the friends they bring with them that want to join their friend. I mean I had to look and pick who to kick just to make room.

I think the intent of the clickcritters captcha is to reduce the follow though rate on yarolds , so I annoy the admins at clickcritters by following all the way though including the captcha. The captcha pops up every so often apparently. sometimes the egg doesn't have it, sometimes it does.
