When I click on the link for the History Exchange, I get this message:

This happens for 2 days, today and yesterday.

Dynasty Exchange and Main Exchange open with no problem.

I hope this gives you useful information.

There are two places you can check.

1) When you check you Profile and look next to "Total clicks received today:" is there a 0 or is there a larger number?

2) Also, look at Activity. What is the last date where you have anything listed under "recv today"?

If you still have numbers in those places, people are clicking your links. I've never understood the "No One Has Clicked Your Links" in History. I receive 5000-7000 links a day, so no matter what it says in History under "Others Clicked," clearly my links are being clicked.

Give those two things a check and if you have 0s there, then something might be wrong, otherwise, I think you're doing fine.

Edit: I found your profile this morning. You had received 1446 clicks when I checked about half a day into the cycle. I also saw that I had clicked all of your links, so they came up for me in at least one of the Exchanges.

In the same amount of time, I've received 3789 clicks. I do have 50 links, all of which reappear some time during the day. Even so, where I used to receive 7700-8500 clicks a day, I am now receiving 6000-7400 and my MinAvg has dropped 500 points since Christmas. If this keeps up, I too, will begin to lose VIP levels.

Thank you for the explanation. That explains a lot. I do have Adblock and Flashblock running, and anti-virus software, but nothing is perfect I suppose. Thank you for your patience.

I just got a link that generated a warning about malware, my need to contact Apple, and a warning about how dangerous it would be to shut down my computer, etc. etc. The pop-up wouldn't go away and I couldn't quit Chrome. I had to Force Quit.

I've been seeing more and more of these bad links, though this seems to be the worst. I reported the first one I came across, but it is still in the mix. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be reporting them or where, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place.

Anyway, I thought new links (from sites not previously represented on Yarold's) had to be approved before they were let loose in the mix. Is this not the case anymore? If that is still true, how are links like this getting through? Or do I really have a problem now. With more and more "garbage" links, I can't tell what is "fishy" or what is real.

Thank you very much for all your help.

A friend of mine just had her computer hack'd this morning and had to reset everything
including Yarold's. Now it's telling her she don't belong to any Dynasty, has no credits built up,
and pretty much don't exist. She's very confused and upset and doesn't know what to do. I looked her up and there are two of her. I think that when she couldn't log into her account, she tried a variation on her name and inadvertently created a second account. I've told her to do nothing with either account, though she may try to get onto the forum. She is truly confused and thinks she's lost everything, not realizing that she isn't looking at herself at all.

EDIT: Works! OMGosh! Thank you so much. I was going crazy.

The new xanje links won't close for me after I added them to the Close-It Script (using Tamper Monkey for Chrome). It wasn't so bad at first, but now there are lots of them. I thought maybe they required care, but I couldn't find a second step and when I turned off care and they still show up, so they can't be care links.

Has anyone been successful getting them to close on the Close-It Script?

A friend of mine, BlueBeanie, joined recently. Today she wrote me the following:

I'm interested in possibly buying a higher VIP status (I'm currently at level 2). I checked the stickies regarding VIP levels. Though it says

it doesn't give the specifics as to how to do that.

After searching, I found this:

(So, 2400 credits would put me at VIP level 4 for a month, correct?)

If this is still true, would you consider adding it to the VIP sticky?

It opened a pop-up window thing with a long warning about something bad on my computer. Of course it wanted me to click a certain link, which I did not.

I couldn't get it to stop popping up, I couldn't close the tab, and I even had a hard time quitting my browser.

I don't know who posted that link, but should it be there? It seems to me that it is probably violating a rule somewhere. Clearly, it isn't a pet that needs clicking.

There are a few others that seem to be of the same ilk. Is this the correct place to bring them to someones's attention?

I have also noticed a drop in clicks received on Lotto days. My theory is that because there are so many more links to click, that not all links will be clicked. This could mean more clicks on inactive accounts and fewer clicks for active accounts, as some that would normally go to active accounts are going to inactive accounts on Lotto days.

I do not have hard evidence, however, but will begin to keep track.

Other than trying to get over 5500 min average (to get 5 more slots), I don't really care, but it is getting harder and harder to receive 5500 a day, despite having 34 links that reset every 6 hours.

For those players who are very serious about the competition between dynasties here, however, this lack of clicks received might be more frustrating.

I will begin to keep better records to either provide evidence or to show myself that there is no correlation.

I am used to Yarolds being 2 hours ahead of me; when it is 12:00 midnight, it is 10:00pm here. today, however, it is March 1, 4:17, but my most recently HAT is listed as March 2, 1:07! It should have been March 1, 6:07.

Long ago, soon after I first came to Yarold's, among the regular UC links of pets or areas, there were links of the community chest. So it seems to me that if it was allowed before there shouldn't be a problem, but I wanted to ask before I added it as a link on my account.
