After updating chrome, and resetting the extensions, I am able to use the link exchange now.

I am getting a script error in firefox and chrome:

I'd like to say that I am not using NoScript either. All I have is the Close-it script.

How can I get more clicks? I'm doing at least 2500 a day, and even made it to 4000 a couple days, but I'm not getting enough back to equal my clicks. Do I just try to meet the previous days clicks, even if there is more for me to click?

I have all my links set to a 4hr timer too, since Magistream is a 4hr reset. the rest of my links are from Ostlea.

Thank you Jay for doing that. I was gone for a few days, and had no idea this happened. I found out from a mail from Gale. I'm glad the person got caught, and hope nobody else is left that knew about this, but didn't say anything.

Hello Eye of the Tiger, and welcome to Yarolds. I have taken some screenshots to help you see how to use yarolds:

First, you need to go here, and either login or create an account (if you have not yet): http://swle.yarold.eu/login.php

Then, after you login, you will be directed to your homepage. If you look on the left side of the screen, you will see this:

Click the link that says "Your Profile"

That will take you to your profile page:

Here you can see your daily stats from the day before. At the top of your profile, you will see some tabs you can click. Click the tab named "Links".

"links" will take you to this page:

To input a link from your game, copy your link and paste it into the "Url" field, which is outlined with the yellow box, on the left. Then, make sure to check mark the Main and Dynasty boxes on the right. Or, if you are not part of a Dynasty yet, then just check the Main box for now.

Then at the bottom of that page, you will find a button named "Update". Click that, and you will have your links setup.

In order for your links to be shown on the Main or Dynasty pages, you need to have positive credits:

You receive credits for clicking other links on the Main, Dynasty and History pages. But you will loose credits when other members click your links you have put out. This is the incentive for clicking: You click other links so your links will stay out longer. If you go into the Negative Credits, do not worry. Clicking other links will bring you back up to positive. Having Negative credits means you links will not be shown until you go back into the Positive.

Ok, I have just found this game link here, so I'm going to assume it is a new addition. Should this game link be allowed, since only registered users can help the owner? I do not want to be thought of as a leecher, or someone who doesn't follow through with extra clicking. I will not register with the site to only benefit the user either. I don't really see a benefit of having this game link allowed here, unless the game is wildly popular and lots of it's members are registered here and active.

I realize I could just ignore the extra clicking, but that is frowned upon here. Any thoughts are welcome, and thank you.

I do have a small question though: How do you get above 10k clicks? Do you spend a lot of time here? I'm only able to get on twice a day during the week, so I have a hard time breaking even 7k for either given or received. I have flaskblock/Snaplinks/Tab Autocloser as well. I think I am limited by time constraints. Unless there is a Clicking script I do not know about?

In order for people to click your links, you need to click other links and gain credits. When you have any amount of positive credits, then you links will show up on the Main page. If you are part of a dynasty (the term for guilds here), then you might have a chance of gaining more clicks (not sure though).

For each link you click, you aquire credits. Most of the time it is 1 credit per link, but some links will only give .90-ish credit.

This is weird. I tried vising my lair on ToD, and the site is back up now. Seems Silver found a person who paid for the server again. I wonder why the links to the dragons do not work on yarolds? I can click my own dragons when on my ToD lair pages, so why do the links not work here?

I'd like to quote my original post concerning TaleofDragons:

Tales has died. Sadly there was a rule breaking committed by the site owner that turned the whole user base against her, and all the users stopped donating to the site. I will say I left there as well, since a site owner who breaks their own rules is someone I can't trust to be fair to all the players."

The owner has said on her facebook page that in order for the site to come back up, she needs donations. The problem with that is she used the donations for her personal use, instead of keeping the site alive. She also favored one user by giving them restricted dragons that belonged to the spriters only. You can only imagine how upset the userbase was after figuring out that info. This led to almost all of the users leaving, and nobody donated to the site anymore either. Since then, the site has stayed silent. The site was fun until that happened, and players couldn't trust the owner anymore.
