Also interesting to note: I got the php.file on a link on the main page - Yet can click the SAME link in history or dynasty page without getting it. Very strange....
All we can do is work around it until Yarold has a chance to check what's going on. |

I'm having a problem with the terrorcrime links. It sits there bouncing between Yarold's and the site - then pops up with a box that says "redirection limit exceeded". A couple of others have had same problem.
Since often it gets counted (it's in a frame) while going between the 2, I can't give the player a good click.
Can this be fixed?
Thank you |

Thats aimed at those in a Dynasty. It is how many clicks on dynasty members and dynasty allies you've done. Clicks on those that aren't in your dynasty or an ally don't count toward your average.
IE: You can show 200 links clicked in your history, but if only 100 were from the dynasty page then only those 100 will count toward your average.

It's not a straight 1:1 ration all the time. Different links get you different credits. Not sure exactly how it works out, but those that have limits on how many you can click in a day are worth more. If I remember correctly (maybe a mod can clarify this) some links are actually worth 1.5 etc.
Throw in the bonus % credits you get if someone joins yarold's under your referral link - and it gets more complicated. |

It means that's how many credits it will take for them to be in the positive. Sometimes you'll run across someone that is -3.5 which means for their link to show they need to get 4 credits (because you can't transfer partials). |

'Desperate clickers' is where you go to get extra clicks on other games and can post your link without a problem there. As far as I know you can post a description of the game you play in your dynasties threads - but not the link.
Can also explain game in "other games" topic. |

Hmmm - this game looks interesting. |

Dynasty clicks only count on those that are in the dynasty you're in, or one you're allied too. I click on a lot of other dynasty members from main or history, but they don't count toward my dynasty average. Hence I always click dynasty first, then history to get other dynasty members/allies links - then main. |

My log in has been changed completely including email and password. Link exchange name is same as one here. My account had been security banned and credits transferred to you, but I haven't been able to access it since.
I would deeply appreciate anything you can do to allow me to access my account again - or to at least remove link so I can have a friend post it for me.
Thank you for the update and information.

Did you click your own link? If so it will be there for others to see but you won't see it until reset happens. Check your history to see if others are clicking you. |

What really bothers me, is the timing of all of this. Now, I am another willing to vouch for eveilsor - but something happened on another forum and suddenly after his being on here for months - he's banned.
The hackers actually came onto the MediWar forums and bragged about hacking Yarolds' and that they did it because they were bored and they wanted new people for their site. (condensed version) Those that are interested in seeing the thread - pm me for link to it.
Eveilsor posted and promptly (along with others who followed his example) put them in their place, lambasted them and stood up for Yarold's. Up to that time he had been hidden (as befits VIP priveledge), he joined a game I'm playing - joined DAOW and posted his link. No problem. I do remember him saying his computer went funky - then a short time later he is banned here.
Like I said, the timing is most interesting - as if someone was waiting for his name to show up on a clicklist here to create problems.

If you're using AOL - then for some reason it shows up as a proxy. Pm one of the mods to find out exact reason. (don't know if AOL has broadband). Try using firefox when possible. |

If you're referring to the actual link exchange - go to profile, enter link (leave out http//) and then click box to show on main page or leave unclicked for your link to only show in the history of the ones you've clicked.
If you mean here on forum - desperate clickers is the only place you're allowed to ask others to click your link.

Go to profile and unclick show link. This will put your link on hidden in Dynasty and history. Another way is to just take all links out until your game is back up.
To do any clicking though - you need at least one link in the slots, but can still keep them hidden. If you are clicking and your link is hidden you can gain credits. Even if they only click you in history - as long as you click more than receive you'll gain.
Hope this helps. |

I run Mozilla Firefox (free download browser) with AdBlock and Cookie culler. I also use SpyBlaster (free) Spybot Search and Destroy (free) Sygate firewall with Etrust anti-virus (all free). In almost 1 year of Yarold's I've Never picked up a virus. Have had to deal with some nasty pop-unders, but I upgraded to the new firefox and it's been quite a while since any have shown up.
All these things I used before coming to Yarold's - not because of this site. Also, if you must use IE - disable all Active X, which appears to be a backdoor for some major nuisance spyware/malware/adware. |

A friend of mine wants to join Yarold's, but when he clicked my recruit link he got a notice that user was banned.
He has dial-up and uses AOL - could this be the problem? Gave him the straight link to the site - gets same notice. Since he's never used Yarold's (never heard of it until I told him about it) not sure what is happening. Any ideas? |
