The Hotel site was down or messed up for a while yesterday, and all the info, hotels, everything there was just gone. Could be why it was disabled. That site was fixed later on, and is now back to normal, however.

I don't know if this is possible (or reasonable)...just a thought, maybe something for a suggestion that was not considered yet....

If new members and non-dynasty members cotinue with the problem to stay positive, couldn't just those acct. types be given a little more credit value for their clicks...then they'd have a few more credits to help them when their links get clicked, and thry may still stay positive then? Perhaps 0.25
or 0.50 more credit for each click they make, for example...

A script could check to see if they go to a dynasty or not...if they do join a dynasty, then they start getting "normal" value like all others in dynasties do now, because they will have more options available to them.

Again, it's just a thought...so please don't no one start world war 4 over it, just because it was suggested, thanks.

Hello,
A link I used to use at times (which was previously ok here) changed it's address slightly a while ago.

Old Link address: Http://stargategatewars.com/recruit.php?uniqid=gs1223308084

NEW Address: http://gatewars.com/recru...id=gs1223308084

Now, with the new changes, when I try to add the link with it's "new" address, when I click UPDATE, it deletes that link...and any links on the list underneath it (in the Profile/Links Area). I have to click UPDATE a 2nd time, just to get the deleted lines to re-appear, and they come back Empty.

ALSO: The only way I can even get the new link to "stay" entered is if I put "www." at the beginning, even though it is NOT part of the actual address. Additionally, it is automatically adding a 2nd " / " into the address field for some reason, that is NOT required or part of the actual address (it is being inserted after the ".com" part of the address. ONlY ONE / should be happening there). Lastly, It also gives the message "Waiting check by Mod".

The site + game are all the same as in the past. Only a slight alteration of it's address was changed (the site was forced to, due to pressure from MGM Studios + it's likeness to the StarGate Movie + T.V. Series').

Can this please get fixed to work once again with the system? the NEW Address is repeated here: http://gatewars.com/recru...id=gs1223308084

It is the type that allows One (1) click per IP address, once every 24 hours (from the time of the last click).

Also, there is a 3 digit revolving "Code" that needs to be entered. I think Yarolds did have the Frame-type message added, with the message telling people the code needs to be entered.
If possible, this Frame should also be added once again, too.

Thank you.

Hi all!

If you all get mails of upset people where their short notes have gone away:
I moved to a different building site and was using a different computer there.

It has an old IE and I wanted to check the short notes. It said to all short notes that the height and width is 0 and deleted them all

I wont do that again with that old Browser :(

So no, not bored mods or things getting ridiculous. Plain old browser issue.

Little bit of an "oops" there, LOL.

I've had SEVERAL very recently that were WELL WITHIN the "OK" Green area...(NO message about "Might get deleted", EITHER...meaning they were UNDER the size that triggers THAT message)....and they were STILL deleted.

Sorry, but that's getting ridiculous.

Ok, thanks. For some reason I don't remember seeing it there before, but it is there now, anyways. Just wanted to make sure to know how the winnings were being shown. ;)

Are Lotto winnings not appearing in the Transfer area anymore?

Just waned to make sure, yes or no. I know they used to appear there in the past, if anything was won...but last week when I got one of the numbers, there was no Transfer record this time.

It'd be helpful if there were info on what needs to be done even after the click has been counted. Maybe the "link counted" message could be on a new line with the original instructions on the first line? I'd need help with anything that's not in English and have no idea what some of the messages later on say >.>

Another thing related to display is that it's always a good idea to use a lot of security/other extensions to speed things up on CEs, but that may unintentionally mess things up like MyBrute, I believe.

Then, there's various ways to link different things on the same site like people linking to what seems like their UniCreatures profile (some popularity credit or hoping that people go through all of the creatures?) instead of an individual adopt, where it's pretty obvious.

I know exactly what you mean, but at least most of the current games/links have been around quite a while now, so knowing what needs to be clicked or types eventually gets figured out.....Even though I still have no idea whatsoever, what some of them say in their language(s).

Really should be a quick little English translation at the bottom of a page/window of what needs to be done.....some do, but not all of them have that.

Ok and thanks, I think that should be better, at least....especially that last part, which should now make the size check much less mis-leading.

I would think there should be some way to just script something that prevents the re-direction to the new tab...or a selectable option to block display of the link itself (something like the option for "adult" links). There many not be many right now, but it has been picking up over time, and more new ones showing up as it gets discovered by other people.

Believe me, I find the re-direction annoying as much as anyone else. I end up cursing everytime it does that, when I snap a row of links here or at Hydra, LOL. I'm just hoping some sort of "middle ground" solution can be reached or created....without resorting to complete dis-allowment of the link at the site.

In any event, I've just checked their Forums and the Developer of the Starbattle game (site) has just recently been made aware of this being considered a problem for some places. I think he just has to get the right description of the problem (so he understands that just the redirection to the new tab needs to be eliminated), and he would try to resolve it. I don't think he understood it from the first person that brought the issue to his attention....

As a result, and in an effort to try and get a suitable resolution to all of this, I've also just added to that request and explanation of the problem, and suggested that he just make the link work like any other normal link when someone clicks the middle mouse button.... a new tab opens...but without automaticly taking people TO that new tab. I'm hoping this time he will understand the added description and realize he just has to remove or prevent the re-direct script.

I know what you mean...had this happen SEVERAL different times on occasion....

And EVERY time the so-called "Size-check" said it was OK.

Either it's ok...or it isn't. Might as well get rid of the size check, it's obviously useless.

Don't remove the link from the site...people that use it, use it here for a reason, y'know....

I fond it's annoying too...but An option to block the pop-up, or the whole link, (or skip it), something like that, would be fine instead for those that want to use it..

Well, excuse me for trying to find something out, but after waiting more than a couple hours already like this, even a 5 second answer from ANYONE to simply say " The site IS having a problem....." shouldn't be too much to ask, and plenty adequate.

And it IS the place to ask such a question. To find out if it IS the site with the problem, and not something else.

And by the way, Thank you for at least answering.

What is going on with this site now? Every time I try to go to any of the link pages, it just sits there "loading".......for the last 20 mins. or so.

EDIT:
Hello????

It's been almost a couple hours now, and still no change from "Loading..............".

Some kind of answer about this would be nice.......

I WOULD ask WHY...???

Draining 5 credits EACH time for ONE click is ABSURD (I have a much better word for it, but it shouldn't be posted publicly)...
