The title pretty much says it all. It loads then the frame disappears and I do not get my credit for clicking :c |

The popup is inferior to the scroll box. |

I really do not see how it was harming anything, it allowed me to put a little more content into my shortnote than is other wise possible without stretching the page, breaking the table or getting in my neighbors way whatsoever, it's standard code and as long as I didn't have a ton of stuff within it where's the harm? It seemed perfectly reasonable to me, I'd just like a little clarification as to why it was considered a bad thing.
edit: gave the short note rules another read just to be sure I did not miss a change or something and no where in there does it state that a scroll box is bad.
I really do not see how it is any different from the popups |

:/ I would not like this, not only would such a thing be a monster to code I fear it would also cause a lot of lag. |

Since starting my time at SWLE back in august the wait before you click timers, what I call cool down timers, have been added to what feels like every site in the exchange, I know some need them for people to get the full value of their cred and I can accept that without problem, still do not like it but I can accept it as unavoidable, but there are quite a few that have them but do not need them, I was asked to post my concerns and my arguments for why these sites do not need the cool down timers so here they are
dragon cave - well dc got it's timer because TJ09 was having problems from people snapping open many links to his site from fan sites, someone took this to mean us when TJ09 was referring to places like dragon hatchery or whatever it's called and the like which listed out hundreds and some sites even thousands of eggs on a page and people would go in and snap every one of them open causing a great strain to be put on the server and with typical tj fashion before I could bring this up he wiped the post so now I am without proof...
Arvyre - I mod there and I know we have no need for the timers, though for the next day or two we are down from a server upgrade, there are some half a dozen other sites that use the same script as us that do not need them either, I can't recall their names but they're easy to recognize because the layout is basically the same as ours at arvyre.
Dragonadopters - I am not sure of one way or another about their need of a cool down but I can't figure out why they might need one asides from the lotto which is 5 times a day max per clicker, for members of the site only and of no concern to the link owner or the fact that once you pass a certain amount of click they stop having an effect which is not helped by a cool down timer.
Unicreatures - also does not need one, they are an odd one though, each stage needs a small amount of clicks to evolve and once they reach that point clicks stop counting till the owner evolves em and the cycle starts again till they reach their final stage but again I do not see how a cool down timer helps with his at all
Valenth - it was said that they now have their own cool down timer, just be sure I snapped open about a dozen and got no "you clicked to fast" message or whatever was supposed to be seen, they did upgrade their feeding page but that's it, it still functions as it did 3 months ago,
well I think that's about all the links I have a problem with, I don't play any of the other games with the cool down timers so I have no grounds to dispute them, feel free to support or dispute my reasons and if you feel I am wrong about something by all means tell me. |

the one account per person is literal, if there are 7 people in your house wanting an account the 7 can be made, problem is each household has one ip address generally and links are marked clicked by ip address not account, so any accounts that share that ip will also be considered as having clicked the link so if one of you go through and click every link available then no links will be available for the other people on the same ip address. |

it drains 5 creds because the links have such a blasted long cooldown timer on them meaning one person can only click 4 maybe 5 yer hotel links in a day and only 1 a day for phantasy but owners of a yer hotel and phantasy link can click you back unlimited, personaly 5 creds each seems a very low cost. |

Just had to point out
" = quotation mark
' = apostrophe
and either are entirely valid though ' is most commonly used |

the frame isn't the problem and snaplinks is a fire fox add on that allows you yo open multiple links in new tabs all at once
if the timer is a prob;em time wise for you then just open all dragon cave links in tabs in a new window and let the timers run themselves out, it's only a 30 second wait anyways although even a 15 second wait would do the job, TJ just needs it so that 20-40 DC pages are not opening simultaneously. |

TJ had asked everyone to stop using snaplinks but after 10 pages of heated discussion he locked the topic and replaced all the text in the first post, where he asked snappers to stop, with the above posted image, no official rule has been made and it is not known if TJ still wants snapping to stop or not |

no clue what it actually means that he did this but hopefully it means he decided to ignore the use of snapping *hopes* |

Please? It'd be nice to know what type of link your waiting on, a least I'd find it helpfull seeing as I pay very little attention to which links I click, snaplinks and all that jaz ya know, anyways it would be interesting and possibly usefull but no need for it to be any kind of a priority ;p |

they are 24hour reset links and at the moment they are automatically feed rigged so they neither need the timer nor to be care links, they have a max level of 8 but even after they reah 8 the clicks are still counted, all this could change in the future since the site is really new but for now this info is correct |

attempting (and likely failing xD) to keep with your metaphor the peasants would be more like the potato peelers until they can be trusted with the stove, daimyo's the pot stirrers, shoguns the chefs and the emp/kap the head chefs =] |
