Was this truely totally resolved?

I just got a HAT, typed in something within 3 min of clicking the link and got the "Sorry, I have nothing for you" page.

Mine was 59/61 before the bug, and was 59/62 after I hit the bug.
Now it is 62/62 100%
Well thank you anyway

Yarold added 5 passed test points to everyone who were not yet at 100% (that's how I understood it), and since you had missed less than 5 in the past, you are now at 100% (same thing happened to me :p)

Different problem - clicking live links in history, dynasty and main exchange page - checking rate on dynasty page and clicks haven't advanced in like 12 clicks. - Yes I'm refreshing.

I just did those 6 clicks - nothing changed...so I've lost at least 20 click counts - and my credits only advanced by 2. I'm not doing any more so you can verify. ... click the ping and the file will come up large screen so you can see the counts.

The second screenshot you show is for the main link exchange. Your dynasty exchange page will only show dynasty (and allies) links you have clicked. So it is well possible that you click a dozen links on the main exchange without having any increase to your dynasty clicks if none of the displayed links are part of your alliance ring.

As for your credits not going up as much as you just clicked when you refresh, it is well possible that people clicked on your link(s) while you were busy clicking yourself.

I understand there were updates - what I do not understand is why is the new rank is in Chinese as opposed to being in Japanese. All the other ranks are based on Japanese titles, but the new one is written in Chinese as opposed to Japanese or in English.

The new rank is in Japanese, the symbols you see are kanji, one of the 3 alphabets of the Japanese language (4 if you count roman letters (romaji) that they use sometimes).

That said, considering the other ranks are all spelled in romaji, and considering that not everyone has language packs installed on their computers, leading the rank to appear as ?? or squares, I think it would be better if the rank was also spelled in romaji as the others are, it would be more uniform too.

I vote for kampaku/kanpaku instead of 関白.

That's part of the last update.

Your link will be added (become active) after the next reset.

From what I've been able to notice (from the tutorial screenshots and my own link page), while VIPs see all their link slots when they go to their profile, non VIPs only see the slots where there is already something (active), something happening (changing to new/deleting) and one single empt y slot.

When you want to add new links, you have to do it in an empty slot, you can NOT add a new link in a slot where you just deleted a link (set as deleting), but once you have added a new link, a new empty slot should appear to let you add yet another one. Of course, the actual addition will only happend after the next reset, in the mean time they will appear as "changing to new".

Case in point: minicity.in cuttently gives the "bandwidth exceeded" message. That means that EVERYONE who currently have a MyDreamCity link listed 1) are loosing credits here and are not getting any result there and 2) will not see their link removed from here until next reset.

We're talking about hundreds of credits potentially lost per person for the next 12 hours! While some can afford to loose credits (many were posting links just to boost other people's averages after all), there are also many others for whom that can mean a full day worth of clicking totally lost.

Though at first this thread wasn't started about the new update in itself, I guess I will just voice my opinion here since it seems that the problems originated from the update.

First, the positive... what I like about this update:
- no more happy hour (what can I say, it never was really happy for me, way too late)
- more fair for all time zones

Ok, now the bad:
- badly implemented: no actual warning (no the poll about changing dyn. averages does not count), no official announcement to explain what changed = many frustrated users

- no save against waste of credits due to server downs: ok so sometimes one of the games will have problems, I have taken my Dragon Cave, Valenth or minicity.in links down from a few hours to a full day because the actual games were down. With the new system, I can't, and if people click on my links while the servers are down, I loose my credits here, and don't get anything over there. Now why should I even put my links here in the first place? Or what about these games whith a daily limit? People can't manually remove their links when they reach that limit now.. more wasted credits.

I can understand not allowing to post a new link in lieu of a deleted one.
I can NOT understand not allowing to take down a link right away (at least that's what the "Deleting" status tells me, that it is not yet deleted and people can still click on it).

I can Not understand why people were not all given a certain amount of slots, that would ALL be visible at ALL time, where the content could only be updated as follow: actual deleting is postponed till reset, but adding a new link to an already empty slot can happend instantly, but with "ON/OFF" or "Active/Inactive" boxes. There would be a limit on the amount of links posted, and it would be fullproof against external game problems (as long as people check their own games).

I don't actually think the vote results should totally be taken into consideration, especially in WT's idea, mostly because most people who voted NO voted so not because they were against the idea of any change, but because they were not informed of what those changes would be.

I personally think once you click a link on a slot no matter what you put in that slot shouldnt be viewable until the time of the new day 24/hrs whatever you select comes, that would help stop the "inflation" we've seen.

I am ALL for change *votes YES!*

Even though I am very very new to this site, I've already been witness to many exploits to boost one particular dynasty averages, partially by the abuse of the aforementionned. So I totally agree with this.

On a side note however, if we are limited to a max of 14 links total at one time, could it be possible to ALWAYS see the 14 slots in our profile, even if they are empty? Especially if the aforementionned is ever implimented.
