Glad I haven't bothered to re-do mine yet.

I've just recently become a Mod elsewhere, so I know there is a steep learning curve.

This mass-erasure of shortnotes usually occurs because of Mod Error. Everyone's notes were fine, but somebody hit the wrong button. Poof!

Just re-do them til the next mod fubar.

That's exactly what I want, especially since so many of our members left because of the perceived lack of respect for small dynasties.

Small (really small) dynasties need love too!

We have a name for that at our house.

A Group of any size whose members click the most should be able to be "best" by some measurement, if not the most universal measurement.

We used to be able to work toward excellence of Member Average, even if we never could be or want to be biggest and best.

This ability has been stripped away from the smaller dynasties because the Big Boys didn't like being beaten anywhere.

That's just not fair.

If we could retain quality allies by clicking just for fun, I can assure you we would!

I suppose we could eliminate the entire alliance system and we could all be on one page, with dynasties meaning nothing but "a bunch of friends," which is what my Ravelry Dynasty is.

I'll grumble a BIT less as I reconstruct my note, knowing it wasn't just a capricious whim by a Mod.

Why is a note "okay but might be wiped"? Either its okay or its not.

And what triggers mass wiping of the notes of ours and many other dynasties when other dynasties' longer notes are left alone?

I tried to modify my note, got an HTML error, fixed it, and the HTML checker says its fine now, but my note has the infamous "forgot to fix" note again.

Seems fixed now! Thanks, Yarold! I couldn't figure out how I had messed up!

Just to chime in.... me too! My shortnotes look naked!

Can we assume mods are working to fix this?
