no no no, was a great suggestion and it's clear you have a good amount of insight and knowledge so don't think i was raggin on ya lol :)

Yarolds redirects now to a new server, so i have to assume it was a server problem, though this BB is still on the old server and i'm still getting the d/ls so yeah.

not much has been release as a security problem
yes the table names and the coding has been viewed

but alot still isnt known
like what is in the include.php section

yes some people can see the code and launch some attacks. but its happened in the past and im sure the site has had measures set up in advanced

on, what could be having this problem, well even if someone downloads a php page, the server will still process the php code. but in this case the server isnt seeing the php code. something u can do is look into disabling downloading of pages, or images, i think its called leech protection, as a temp fix

but as the root of the problem
it seems like the php process is getting overloaded, by too many requests and shutting down, this could be a ddos or a buffer over flow, see what version yall have and make sure its current, if not patch/upgrade

other than that, thats all i can think of
hope the problem is resolved soon

now its happening on logout, and login pages, and index page
i cant even login without it offering me the login.php page

This is one of the slower times for the site, in the past we have had as many as 100+ members on most of every day, so unless some change has been made to his server host, unintentional overloading shouldn't be a problem...

Which, after saying that, it is entirely possible that the host he uses has downgraded their servers, overloading their own servers or he has donwgraded his plan...But i wouldn't think so...

So that would sort of lead to saying that either this is NOT unintentional overloading, or this isnt' the problem at all. If the site is actually still suseptical to Denial of Service attacks, then he's basically in the stone age lol, but i would doubt that...

As to the actual problem, i don't really know, but i wish he'd fix it soon enough.

Yeah, it's also the worst security breach the site has ever had, I'd have yarold change the pw or accesability to the server and ftp, and also check in his headers and includes to make sure none of them have been tampered with...

I changed computers and am not getting the pop-ups anymore...i cleared the cookies on the other computer and no page will open. Maybe it's a problem with your cookies...

problem is soley on FF too. Which leads to me think there's a possibility that it's a glitche instead of tampering, but i'm still leaning towards tampering involving cookies

The link to this thread was giving me the problem. I don't think it's a problem with your code, i think someone is tampering.

i got in here to post this another way, but yeah

I checked their site and there's no contact link on it. You can get in contact with the admins with ingame mail, but I don't have and wont make an account on there for it.

Do you only get it for world3? or for world 1 and world2 aswell?

They all work fine for me, so i think they do allow clicks from dutch IPs.

Maybe 1 of the players can tell us more, but world3 doesn't have that many players.

I get it for all of them...Also

Now Neu Age links are giving a pop up that says Spammed link no Exp Rewarded and redirects to the main page.

I'll check again the next one i see, but when i right clicked, show this frame, (where it wasn't from yarolds). It took me to the pgae where i can click doorgan or w/e it is...and the URL i posted above was the site it was on.

But it's always possible, they decided to allow links from yarolds now...I think it wouldn't catch it, if the links weren't in the 'waiting for your click to count' frame.

maybe was a mistype in the code, instead of 2 credits per click it was like...5...which isjust about the 2 on the number pad, i dunno, i'd ask yarold to look at the code again and make sure.

are people clicking your link at all random? from click history? i tink they're saying that if they are, each click is taking 2 credits from you.

My Shogun, Random is having some insane problem, he keeps losing 10 credits every minute or so...he transferred all his credits to me...there's nothing but that in his transfer log...

10 credits is the amount lotto takes but he hasn't bought lotto since the 3rd...after he sent me his credits, he lost anotehr 10, he has -9...

I dont know what could explain this...he changed his password, i haven't got an update after that, but still yet, how could someone lose 10 credits even with his login and it not show on any log.

Unless somone is doing it directly with the db...and if so, why him? he only had 1800+ credits, and has made no obvious enemies...it's always me that's the targe...any info would be helpful.

EDIT: This is of very much interest to the situation.....the site didn't reset last night..however jamesfromedmonton has over 600 clicks for the day(s)...which isn't amazing, but compared to the 2nd highest at just over 300...it's really odd...but only 250+ of those clicks were dynasty....

Either the 2 things are related...or 2 things are messing up.

Notice, that i'm not insinuating anything about james...just saying that it's very odd

Also random doesn't seem to be losing credits after hte changed pw...but that doesn't explain how someone with his pw could loose 10 credits frequently with nothign in any log...

This is of lately a very relevant option that needs to be implemented...

If new members have applied but not yet accepted, make a notification for the emperor/shoguns/daimyo's whatever...it could be as simple as having a (1 new) next to the dynasty name...I don't care really

This is probably the easiest thing u'll ever have to code to put in there too...lol

You have to have html priveleges in your short notes. Whihc means getting a star beside your name.

okay i see what happening, you have your link in all 4 slots, but 3 of them are only visible on click history, just remove them from the 3 other slots on ur profile and that should fix it.

hmm, unless you have your same link in all 3-4 slots in your profile, it shouldn't be possible...and if that's the case yarold should look into this...cause it actually is abuse if you only have 1 link in only 1 slot and some users are clicking more than once.

How many links are you showing? No it's not possible if you're only showing one link (using only 1 link slot in your profile), but otherwise, a person can click all the links u have shown.
