Post subject: Trouble Logging In

A friend of mine, BlueBeanie, joined recently. Today she wrote me the following:

Did my account get removed over on Yarolds? I tried logging in to update my links and it said I didn't have the right password and when I tried to get my password reset it said my email was invalid.

I checked for her and saw that yes, her account seems to still be here and no, she doesn't seem to be banned.

What is the usual procedure regarding this kind of thing so I can give her the correct information.

She needs to request a password reset. Then check her registered email for the link

She has tried that and this is what she wrote to me:

I've only got the one email (&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;&;) and I tried twice yesterday to re-set it with no result, just a 'this email is invalid' note even though I have the validation email and such. :S

It's been so long since I joined, so I don't remember, but is the forum account different from the other account? Should she be able to make an account for the forum?
