Post subject: Losing more credits than I think should be
I've noticed that every night for the past few weeks I am losing 5000-7000 credits.

I've only had one link up in that time.

Can anyone explain why they are going down by so much?

You are in a high tax bracket.

[V]EMARSHE has currently 312502.77 credits. 200000 - 400000 is taxed at 0.8% according to here . By this logic at reset EMARSHE should lose 2,500 credits (312502.77 * .008). Will check numbers after reset to see if that matches up today.

If you had 400,000 credits, taxed at 1.6% instead of .8% is the only way tax would of taken 5,000 credits at reset. (399,999 * .008= 3,200credits, the max this bracket can take from tax). Whereas 400,000 would be (400,000 * .016=6,400 credits).

Did you use to have 400,000+ credits, that could be why you lost so many credits to tax?

after reset 307148.73

I have made a mistake, the taxes changed. that was in December, taxes then changed in January. Here

Everything is normal.

Tax rates are here

So working out Emarshe's tax it:

50 credits (0 - 50k)
100 credits (50k-100k)
1600 credits (100k-200k)
3600 credits (200k-400k)
total = 5350 credits

So everything seems to be working pretty well!

When you look at your activity log, your nett loss for the day is only 1500 credit day to day due to the difference between clicks done & clicks received.
