DemonicJ - Sat Oct 18, 2014 12:04 pm Post subject: Yarolds Ambassador Program After much discussion & a lot of research on the forums of the games we support here, we have decided to embark on an Ambassador program. The concept is; Help members of games we support discover the benefits of Yarolds - Identify members that could use Yarolds to help them - This involves helping people join Yarolds Resolve issues some members might have with using Yarolds - Through the use of addons, pc settings etc Promote good will between the game your an ambassador for & Yarolds - Talk with the site owners/programmers to see if there is anything we can do better for their game - Timers, link reset times, link limits, banner exchanges - Represent Yarolds in the best possible way. The type of person we are looking for to become Ambassadors; - members of games that are active in their game & forums - members that help others in those games - members that are respected by the game peers You will be supported by the staff here with any questions you have in the role Now this project is still in the planning stages. We (the staff) are discussing benefits/rewards any member that becomes an Official Ambassador may receive (Currently the thought is using the purple star that we use to identify game owners/admins). Maybe also an official banner/logo/avatar you can use on your game site? However we are really willing to hear from anyone that's interested in becoming an Ambassador. Now to make something very clear. We are looking for people that are respected at the game/s they play, that have a positive attitude, that are active here at Yarolds & are willing to help both the game/s they play & Yarolds. We will verify your credentials at the game/s you nominate to be an Ambassador for. We are looking for a minimum of 1 Ambassador per game or more for the larger games. You can nominate for more than one game as well as we all play several games & you may well be selected as an Ambassador for more than one game! All positions will be given on merit. It also is a good way for the right people to become members of Yarold's staff and take part in improving relationships and to take part in the brainstorming of subjects relating to their field.
