bella - Sat Oct 25, 2008 9:44 pm Post subject: Negatives Hi Gamers, The time has come where we need to do something about links in our dynasty. The question is though - what action should be taken? I am extremely reluctant to boot out active members. We have some members who do an amazing job and click big numbers each day but are still in negative. And we have some members who play games which have a maximum amount of clicks or can only get clicks at certain times of the day. Every day I do go through and kick out people who haven't been able to be active, so all of our people are actually clicking. Some ideas would be great. We are all in this together so I want to find out what is going to be best for the members of our dynasty. Either post here or send me mail. Thanks B ratchet freak - Sat Oct 25, 2008 10:21 pm I'd say message those with links visible in main and neg credits and tell them to uncheck the main checkbox and give them a day or 2 to get positive credits before going to booting. for those with hidden so-many-clicks-a-day links (like myself) there's not much you can do except force them to sign up to a unlimited-clicks-a-day game for a link to show 24/7 or let them be or boot them mrpoey - Sun Oct 26, 2008 4:57 am I have been waiting for a post like this, personaly I don't think it should make a difference, however.. were losing allies  anyways...
the active negatives are just as annoying, because they hit your link then you can't hit them back when you sign on  (losing credits) some new guys probly just don't know how to avoid it (links shown in main or 2+ links) you should put a hyperlink in your short note like some other dynasties have done 
also, contacting the emps of allies would be a good idea. Their input is also important 
bart - Sun Oct 26, 2008 5:08 am I fully agree with mrpoey, a hyperlink in the shortnote pointing out to uncheck the link in main certainly could work although on the other hand I am sure that negatives will remain a recurring problem as there are too many "non serious" gamers. I actualy don't mind the negatives/hidden links but I certainly don't like losing allies !!. They react positive on my mail and set the links right now so maybe they come into the postives and Bart maybe you can set it in your short about the profile then we do both something grts yvonne

Proposal for you; 1.new members who join a dynasty profile stint on only one link and that he might be visible only in the dynasty, and perhaps history. 2.Maybe they should give impetus to the best members VIP plus or VIP gold(example;100 000 or 200 000 click).Good members with VIP member (as so far 60 000 clicks) and new members who can put just one link (dynasty) can be members without stars. turdkey - Sat Nov 08, 2008 7:55 am I like to send this post or variations of it to members with negative credits I hope this can be of some help to you. 1 In your profile only check the dynasty box. 2 Never have too many links showing unless you have sufficient credit. Even if you only have 2 links showing in the dynasty you would need to click 800 a day just to break even 3 Do the daily quiz(left hand tool bar) worth 5 credits and google the answer if you don't know it. 4 Try to click more efficiently (there are plenty of posts on the forums dealing with this subject and it is well worth your time to read them.) 5 Be aware that you can not hide your link totally unless you have a blue star against your name and you only get one of those after clicking 60,000 links or you purchase credits 6 Accept adult links, you will get no porn, as porn is not allowed at Yarolds, just extra links to click from 18 rated games. ratchet freak - Sat Nov 08, 2008 12:03 pm 7. fill in the limit box if you don't believe you have enough credits for each click to that link the limit goes down by 1 and when it hits 0 it'll be hidden everywhere (including history) and you'll still be able to click for non-vips: the link'll show again in history after server reset (7am server time) radio-ratio - Thu Jan 01, 2009 11:47 pm This is a "yarold" kind of problem for me. I click every link I see, I make sure to click on your Doorgaans and at least one of your dragons, but I'm still always in negatives because my link takes away 10 credits every time that it is clicked and it is impossible to click enough links to keep it in positive numbers with that kind of drain. Should I be booted? |
