Support - Ask here - Adding a link which needs to be checked
Eraethyr - Tue Sep 15, 2009 11:11 am Post subject: Adding a link which needs to be checked Hi there, I made a page to display my Egg Cave eggs, (Egg Cave don't enable you to delete pets so my profile is covered in pets that I don't want clicking!) but when I try to add it on the links page it deletes the link box and any boxes below it.
Who do I contact to have the link checked to see whether it can be permitted in the system.
Thank you
Eraethyr

as it isnt a link directly to game, it would not be approved

I guess a mod will answer soon, but why don't you link the egg? I mean like http://www.eggcave.com/egg/##### instead of redirecting to a page where someone might click on a link that will open the egg page and then maybe feed it...
it's much simpler for the clicker, but (being unfamilliar with tha game) I don't know if it helps your andvancing in the game...
good luck though..

Thanks DemonicJ, that is disappointing as promoting the profile gives views to the eggs I need to die so keeps them alive longer! Linking to the egg directly seems to give views and feeds but not clicks and some eggs will only evolve with clicks as well (I don't know why this is the case but I tried it a couple of days ago and it didn't raise the clicks )

Hi!
So why not adding the link to your egg cave profile?
Thats allowed!

The trouble is the profile opening gives views to all the eggs, including the ones I don't want anyone to click, and that I don't want receiving views (which happens as soon as the profile comes up). I'm not sure then adding a link to the Egg Cave profile to the page with just the correct eggs on will help at all.
At least the pets that only need feeds or views should be ok if I set them individually, I'll do that. Thanks for your help everyone.
