Post subject: Problem with the link exchange...
Hi, I'm new here, sorry if this question sounds n00bish or basic. I also apologize if this is in the wrong section.

When I use the link exchange, sometimes the links don't count even after it says "your link has been counted".

Also, I seem to have negative credits. Why do I, and how do I get out of this state?

Thanks in advance. :D

you are negative cause more people have clicked your link than clicks you have given

Post subject: waiting to be checked by moodvisible
im sorry i cant really find a place where to ask about this in other topics so i chose this one..

i got two new members. both of them are waiting to be checked by moodvisible (i also got already yelled at for having them by some other emps) and one of the member has been waiting like 10 hours and the other one at least 30.. i mean.. more than a day i think its way too much.. then either allow them or refuse them but i dont want to kick them out of the dynasty when its not their "fault" their links cant be clicked..

another two Qs, since im asking. i thought HAT-care percentage will be "erasing" itself every once in a while so its "fair" with us, long clickers, and new starting people. my firefox crashes sometimes so i lose some of them.. and.. i wish one day i got at least over 90 percent..

and a last Q - whats going on with credits?? it lately seems they disappear much faster that they appear, even my good members now get negative sometimes, which is disappointing for me, them and our allies, and their average is good.. can you maybe re-think the credit system, even by "giving" a member who clicks over some certain number of clicks a day a "bonus" because for new members its impossible to learn fast before being kicked out to stay positive...

thank you..

michaela,
emp of respect dynasty

Yes I have this same problem, normally it was always so that if you clicked 400 you get not negative because we have not more allies in alliance than 400 to click back.
Now everyone get negative who clicked 400.

Stan or Demonicj, is there changed something?

Alba - Tue Aug 25, 2009 10:17 am

I think what that is because they are visible in dynasty and history... if they are visible only in dynasty, they can be positive with 400 clicks.
but is not possible be visible only in dynasty if you are not vip.

i wish that Stan change it and let that the "no vips" can be visible only in dynasty

misunkyno - Tue Aug 25, 2009 7:46 pm

i think it has to be something else besides this because even who have "only" dynasty go negative...

what happened??

Ferrari - Tue Aug 25, 2009 7:54 pm

yes i think we lose more credits tan before, when someone is clicking our link, I am almost 100% sure.
And we get not more when we click other persons link, that makes the difference.
because kubic clicked yesterday 425. we have 399 members in alliance, his link is visible only in dynasty and he was negative.
And other members also mailed me with this problem, it is from the last 2 weeks, that i get those messages.

Part of this losing a little more than you would expect is due to the fact that we are "taxed" a percentage or something on the clicks we do--this amount goes toward building up the lotto total which is then used to give us those WONderful crazy click days.

Another part is due to showing extra links--even if VIP and limiting the clicks on them. Marga, I'll use Kubic as an example since you brought him up:

You mentioned 399 ally total, Kubic clicked 425. Ok, one link with zero limit = 399 clicks are possible. There are TWO with zero limit= potential of 798 clicks if both shown. 798 minus 425 actually clicked = loss of 373 credits. But wait--there are 8 more links with set limits totaling 55 credits, so actual loss if all links are shown is 428. If any of the limited links are shown more than once, there is potential of more credits lost.

clicked; using handler; visible: Dynasty Reset: daily at 0
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 5
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 6
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 5
not clicked; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 14
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 6
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 7
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 6
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0 Limit: 6
not clicked; using handler; visible: Reset: daily at 0

I have been struggling to balance a main link ( which my allies are entitled to click due to our being allies) with showing extras as many of the allies do without losing a lot of credits in doing so. One reason for not being able to click back the credits you lose by showing extras is partially due to the number of unclickables links you have in your own & allied dynasties. You are clicked by those ( including any extras you choose to show) but do not have the opportunity to click them back if they are negative, hidden or none.

What I am trying to do as a test is to only put my extras out after I have been able to click my ally total and then, if I have clicked more than that, I split the amount of credits I've clicked extra and put it as the limits on my extras or put it all on one extra so more can click at least one extra link. That is the only way to keep credits going out even with credits coming in, otherwise I would go negative or have to buy more credits. Unfortunately, this has also meant showing my extras only once. I used to show them all on limits at every HH I was at--but I never could click enough to cover them & lost credits.

i'm totally agree with you marga lot of new member in la brute of pimousse are sometimes negative on a day because of the too big ponction on the clik received. a good idea is to give a bonus to all new member who make more than 350 cliks in dynasty exchange . to help them to stay positive and motivate them!. and more members stay positive more clik all members 'll do in dynasty exchange and yarold can get back credits on these supplementary clicks.

and i think like other members that the "ponction" grow up since i'm on yarold!!!!!

if stan can answer to us it will be very kindly

Post subject: CREDITS
i have to agree that happy time links are "eating" much more credits that we limit the links for, thats normal because more people have opened the browser at the same time.

i have a brand new member though, joined yarolds today. im including the image (hope it displays right).

she clicked a lot, but the number recieved is much lower and shes already negative..
the same with my other new member. even though i donated to her 100 or 200 by now to help her stay positive, her number of recieved is lower than clicked, plus these 200 credits dunno where they went...

i think its really strange. my credits (i gave some away but still) started disappoearing in an astronomical speed. even though i make 600 clicks a day...

i think its not fair, especially since the new members just lose motivation..

you said something about the old times (like now i guess were donating to you moderators? i didnt understand that), but still i think its not fair yarolds site already gets money from some members, my former emp cheryl bought some thousands of credits here.....

it doesnt let me to post any attachments (or better said, the site crashes and shows a blank page) so here is the "copy"
