Support - Ask here - I got a warning !!
penang - Fri Apr 24, 2009 1:47 am Post subject: I got a warning !! Log on to the forum, got a warning.
Reason: "Posting in moths old threads"
WHAT????
How do I know which thread is "moth old", which one is not?????
It's kinda ridiculous in accusing users of posting in "moths old" thread when there is no indication anywhere.
And if the threads are "moths old", why don't the moderators closed them???
I don't understand. I just don't understand.
It's like a road has potholes, and when someone drive over the potholes, the authority issue warnings to the drivers.
The authority could patch up the potholes in the first place.
Blaming drivers for driving over the potholes is as ridiculous as the warning I got today.
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh !!!
Close up all the moths old threads, moderators. Stop blaming us, the users, for posting in them.

You posted in many threads where last post was more than months old and your reply can be shorten to 'yes, i agree'.

You usually reply to posts and each of them consist of date. You look for something like: 'Posted: Sat Sep 06, 2008 7:29 am' then you calculate how old is it and if its more than month you assume that this one is "moths old" thread.

I believe that one can post valuable information in those threads, even after log time.

penang, everyone who register here accept some rules.
I think that if there's a rule "to don't revive old threads", we really need to follow it.

Does this apply to every thread though? Some old threads are useful and it would stop an influx of new threads just asking the same old tired questions. This warning should only used on repeat offenders if it pertains to spam (as it does here)
