The Mob - Mobsters CONTESTS. UPDATED DAILY!
iFly - Wed Mar 18, 2009 12:42 pm Post subject: Mobsters CONTESTS. UPDATED DAILY! CONTEST ORDER: BRACKET, SURVIVOR, TEAM ACTIVITIES.
Hey Mobsters! I’m beginning a barrage of contests, and one will always be going on. That’s the bracket. Anyways, it all will start on MARCH 19! Okay? ^_^
First contest: A BRACKET. All dynasty members participate in this.
1. There are three brackets: The low bracket is for those with averages 0-400. The middle bracket is averages 400-450, and the high bracket is 450+ averages.
2. The prizes for this are: 300 credits to the winner of the low bracket, 400 to the middle winner, and 500 to the winner of the high bracket.
3. Vote on the poll for when you want this contest to be, first, second, or third. Once that’s determined, when we get close to the contest I’ll make the brackets.
Second Contest: SURVIVOR. All members participate in this. If you do not want to, mail me.
1. Members are put into 7 teams of 7. This is based on daily average, and will be as equal as possible.
2. Members click as much as possible. Total clicks at the end of the day are totaled.
3. The team with the lowest total will get eliminated. The last team standing wins!
4. Prizes: 388 credits to each on the winning team.
Third Contest: TEAM ACTIVITIES—one of these per day, the whole week has these going on. We’re using the same team from Survivor.
Third contest: TEAM ACTIVITIES.
1. Most-of-a-Kind
---Team with most numbers that are the same wins (335, 637, and 938: there’s lots of 3’s).
---100 credits to each on the winning team.
2. Blackjack
---Team with MOST people’s clicks which add up to 21. (EX: 399, 498 has 2 members that add up to 21)
---In the event of a tie: Total clicks that have Blackjack are added up, the team with the highest total wins.
---100 credits to each on the winning team.
3. Spit
---Team with most people who have consecutive totals wins (numbers may go up or down, or up and down, or down then up. Working examples that are acceptable: 567, 565, 656, and 765. Not limited to those, just examples)
---ALL 3 numbers have to be consecutive.
---In the event of a tie, the numbers of the people who have consecutives are added up, and the highest total’s team wins.
---100 credits to each on the winning team.
4. Team Solitaire
---Last digits of the clicks for one day go consecutively. The team with the longest chain of numbers wins.
---No doubles, meaning they can’t go 9 8 8 7 6 5 4
---In the event of a tie: Total of the consecutive numbers wins (9 plus 8 plus 7 plus 6….).
---100 credits to each on the wining team.
5. Odds
---Team with the most odd numbers wins. Numbers are treated separately (399 is not 1 odd number, it’s treated as 3, 9, and 9). (EX: 376, 479, and 531 is 7 odds)
---In the event of a tie, the highest odd number total wins (3 plus 9 plus 9….)
---100 credits to each on the winning team.
6. Evens
---Like odds, just with even numbers.
---100 credits to each on the winning team.
7. Primes
---Team with most prime numbers wins. Treated as whole numbers (57 treated like 57, not 5 and 7)
---In the event of a tie, the total of the primes are added up, and the highest total wins.
---100 credits to EACH on the winning team.

UPDATES EVERY DAY, ONLY SHOWING WHO MOVES ON, NOT DAILY CLICKS EACH DAY.

If you don't know how a bracket works, just follow the updates on this page and you'll know if you move on or not. The people who get erased off this sheet have lost the match.
REMEMBER: one round for erasure in the low bracket lasts 1 day. A round for Erasure in the Middle bracket is the two-day total, and a round for ERASURE in the High bracket is a three-day total. Then the rounds keep going.

Any questions? Post them here and I'll put them up in the post, or mail me and I'll answer them personally.

Great contests, iFly!
I think you should start the Bracket first, since in the USA we're doing the NCAA Basketball tournament (March Madness) and it's bracket-based. Different brackets but still...
And the team "most clicks" contest is a good way to introduce teams to the concept before adding more complexity with the last games.
Looking forward to them! I'll throw you some credits for prizes... hope some of the shoguns will also!

I agree totally with MUSHpark, you have great ideas for contests!
The last contest type is indeed quite difficult, though.
I'll try to save some credits for adding them to the prizes.

If you gave me credits, I wouldn't raise the prizes. There were already doubled... so I cut them in half, and here they are. A full round of contests costs 8816 credits: That's 1 bracket, 1 survivor, and one week of team activities, one team activity each day.
