Cheryl - Sat Mar 07, 2009 10:55 pm Post subject: Shortnotes Why does our shortnotes constantly get taken down when they aren't even in the Yellow? As an Empress mine are allowed to be a bit bigger. They can be fine for the longest time, and all of a sudden, extremely arbitrary, they are removed and it is said I didn't check my size and they were too big. I know for a fact it was NOT too big according to the size check utility. As per Franks suggestion, I had added a note about UniCreatures and making sure to click on the POPSICLE, BALL or BRUSH. As soon as I added that, the site went weird, the blue back ground was white, and I wasn't able to click correctly. When it came back up, my shortnote was wiped out. This is getting so annoying. How on Earth are we to communicate to our members things that Admins themselves tell us to....when the notes keep being eliminated. I really really need to know the reason for this. I try to be calm, and not get upset, but this has happened too often lately. The note wasn't even in the Yellow! As I wasnt the mod to delete it, I cant provide you anymore info than that Metalteo - Sun Mar 08, 2009 12:06 am When you do a size check, you might also want to do a HTML check too, when using tables. Although the errors aren't critical and you're notes are displayed, notes are being checked with a script that could find them too big when they're in yellow. OK, thanks, I have to admit I didn't check the html when the shortnote check came out ok and it didn't not let me use it. Thank-you Frank for your answer. [ Added: Sun Mar 08, 2009 11:56 am ] For the first time, my shortnote is too wide......454....but I haven't changed it at all in width. What do I do to fix it? HELP please!!
