Kallico - Mon Jan 19, 2009 12:37 am Post subject: Links in profiles aren't clickable? I did a search and browsed through all six pages, and it doesn't seem as if anybody is asking the same question. I also read the 'How to play' guide in the main site with no success. I clicked the few links that pop up in the link exchange, (I wonder why there're so few? I thought it'd show everyone's link...) and I decided to start clicking links from people who were online. But when I visited their profile, the links provided weren't click-able. Can someone explain that to me please? I have negative credits, which means people have clicked my link, yet links in profiles aren't click-able it seems. I'm just confused, sorry. One reason is when you look at your profile, you see your care is : on (<10) Explaination of this can be found here : http://yarold.eu/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4171 Another thing is (i think) the members who are in a dynasty. Most of them only show their links in dynasty and not on the main page or history. However, there is this VIP thing. When you are not a VIP, you can unmark main in your profile, but your link will always be visible in history. You become VIP by either buying credits from Yarold's or click 60.000 links. So, that way also may be the reason for not so much links. I don't understand what you mean by clickable links in profile, you can't click links there. Tsai - Mon Jan 19, 2009 8:04 am
I don't see why this would be a reason for seeing little links. It just means she hasn't had 10 HAT's yet, meaning she will see all available links to click. However your other point is very true. More and more members are in a dynasty and almost every dynasty asks its members to show their link(s) only in dynasty because that will help them to keep a positive credit balance. So my suggestion Kallico would be to join a dynasty. You will find a lot more links to click and the management of the dynasty you pick will surely have some more tips for you to find extra links or get credit bonusses. (like being online at a certain time of the day  )
Links in a profile are never clickable, not for you and not for anyone else. You can only click links on the Link exhange page and the History page. (and as soon as you join a dynasty and are accepted, also at the Dynasty exchange page) Good luck and have fun ! Ella - Mon Jan 19, 2009 1:11 pm

This is only true as soon as you have had at least 10 HAT's. <10 means she hasn't had 10 HAT's yet, so she will see all links. turdkey - Tue Jan 20, 2009 7:45 am The links you saw in each person's profile are most likely extra links they have for their dynasty clicking and if they are a VIP they will be invisible to you unless they also have then enabled in history or main, and that is very unlikely. They may also have them on a limited number of clicks per day and once used they link is dead until reset. I hope this explains things a bit better for you. When I first started at Yarolds there were many,many links available on the main page but this that has changed dramatically sadly. And that makes being a noob more difficult IMHO |
