MUSHpark - Tue Dec 16, 2008 5:47 pm Post subject: Bioget popup About once a day (probably based on a cookie) when I open a link to the Poveste de Cartier game, I get a pop-up (focus-stealing tab in Firefox) to bioget.com. Obviously it's only a minor nuisance, but is there any way to block these extra links? Zaefyr - Wed Dec 17, 2008 4:58 am Ugh, they really are annoying, but unfortunately I don't know any way of blocking them. The only solution I've found is to immediately hit CTRL-W/CMD-W (Mac) to close the tab as soon as I see it appear. It's not as fancy as a specialized blocking program, but it works almost as well. 
You could also try this Firefox add-on called LeechBlock. It blocks sites that you specify and you can give it a try to see if it works.
