Post subject: Advanced Link Options
Hi,

i play the german browser game "Pennergame" and added my link at Yarold's to gain clicks and virtual money.

However, a user can only get 200 clicks per day, server reset is every midnight at 0:00 GMT +1. How do I have to set up the advanced link options. A single user can click every hour on my link, so the "24h" settings is wrong for me. Therefore I decided to set the history reset optino to "daily".

Yarold's server time atm is displayed as "Wed, 08 Oct 2008 20:01:04 +0200". What means the +0200? the "20:01:04" is exactly GMT +1 time, does the +0200 mean plus two hours, in fact 22:01:04? So do I need to set the history reset time at 0 or 2 to get 0:00 GMT +1 time?!

And what about the "limit" field. I set it to 200, but the counter gets down to 0 and my link is removed from the main page. For one day, thats fine, but I need another 200 clicks the next day, from 0:00 on. Does the limit reset itself automatically to the value I entered or do I have to set it manually to 200 every night?

thx in advance

i use the limit option myself sometimes to show a second links for a certain amount, and it has to be set every day.

i don't have an answer on the rest of the questions, but am sure someone here can answer them

You will need VIP status to get advanced settings. The GMT +2 is the same time as the Myminicity time, which correspond to the French midnight. Reset daily is at French time/Yarold time at 7AM. If you have VIP/advanced settings then you can choose when you want to reset your Penny game. Right now you do not have to manually reset anything, as this site takes care of that for you.

you do not need vip for the limit thing, if i am correct. a friend of mine used it before becoming a vip, but it was a while ago, so..

Opps, sorry for that mistake. I too had the option before I clicked 60,000, but I forgot. Hehe, we both replied to the original post at the same time.

Does the info here help?

It's a tutorial explaining all the profile options.

The 24 hr is the best choice for your links. Your game might reset at midnight, but your links don't. They reset every hour.
When you set your links for the daily expire option at midnight, this means that other can click your link a few right before midnight and short after midnight.
The second time it's clicked, it will not count in your game.
Games can be set to be clicked more then once a day, but with your low maximum clicks a day, other users didn't find it necessary.

GMT is our winter time in the UK, currently we in the UK are on BST = GMT+1 but remember that changes on Sunday 26 October at 02:00 but becuase the whole of Europe change the clocks at that time you will notice no real difference.
