I noticed that there's a five-minute timer for Pokeplushies links, and I'm curious about why it's so long. I have a bunch of creatures from the site myself, and I go and "feed" them once a day, and there's no waiting period for the feeds to register (like, I load the feed URL for one, feed it, move on to the next, feed it, etc). I'm just wondering if the site's timer could be decreased? Possibly down to 1 minute? TiddaMouse - Sat Sep 06, 2008 2:35 pm The reason it has been increased to five minutes is because many people have been complaining about not receiving their clicks to their creatures. An error occurs if you have more than one feeding window for PokePlushies open at once, making the last one to be opened the only one the "click here" buttons works for. Any that are opened at the same time will show an error, which to fix you must click back and then re-click the "click here" button. To try and stop people from just closing the window when they receive this error the timer has been extended to 5 min to try and prevent the error from occuring in the first place. If you PokePlushie users could convince the creators of PP to allow more than one feeding window to be open without causing the error then the timer will be reduced. It is only this way because of the 3-5 complaints made on the forum over the last two weeks. ardatia - Sat Sep 06, 2008 2:38 pm DashaBlade, I have pokeplushies also, but I like to have the timer be 5 minutes between them. The reasoning for this is that many people (me included) open up many links at once and then I go through them and either close them out or click where I need to on them. This takes longer than just one minute so that by the time I reach the first pokeplushie that needs to be clicked, the second one will have already came up if the timer was just one minute long. Since you level up your adoptables each day, you know that if you open up more than one pokeplushie page at a time, you'll get an error message when trying to level up all except for the last one opened. This is why there is a 5 minute timer....people can open many links and go through them...by the time they click every that needs to be, there is still time left on the pokeplushie timer, which means you'll get both of them leveled instead of paying out credits only to get one leveled.
