Support - Ask here - "Advanced Mode" in profile
spurs-talkers - Sat Jul 12, 2008 4:29 am Post subject: "Advanced Mode" in profile So I saw this in my profile this evening, set to "NO" .. changed to "YES", don't really see any difference. What's "Advanced Mode" all about? Don't remember seeing it before but guess I could have missed it up to now.
Thanks.

There are three things that I know of.
1. You can set your links expiration individually to 24hr or daily.
2. You can set a time that each link expires (when it expires daily).
3. You can set a limit of clicks before the link is automatically hidden (for those links that you can only get 50 hits a day and such).
Am I missing anything?

And there are no more double links in History if you have advanced on and "hide rows without links"

Can someone of Yarold team give me a little help here.
I do not find any explenation on those settings in the forum.
Would be great if you could answer question below.

Hello,
what should be the optimum setting for someone who cllicks alot in a Dynasty and who is doing the happy hours throwing in 12 more links from 6:00 - 7:00.
Also I wonder what will happen if you leave it at daily - 0 - 0
Any help ?? any hint ??
Thank you
Cheers

Hi,
advanced mode in in profile / account "Advanced mode:" There you can change it to "yes". Advanced mode is only visible for VIP, if I got it right.
Best mode for myminicity should be daily 00:00 (daily 0 0)
If you want to show so many links in happy hour, you have to add and delete them manual, as there is no option for removing the link at a special time or showing only for a special time period.
And the "optimum setting" would be to show the links also in happy hour 00:00 - 01:00, if this is still going on (had no time the last days)
Hope this helped, have a nice day.

Can you claify what 'hide rows without links' mean/does? Thanks

it shortens the history page to only show those users with actual clickable links. Makes it quicker to click the available links in history.
The 'long' history page <show rows without links> shows all links you've clicked and all those who have clicked your links.

you dont have to be VIP for that though Mine is that way and I havent made VIP yet.
