OK, I noticed that almost all gamers use combination Windows OS and Mozilla Firefox browser. But, I also noticed there is some "the others".

What, why and how long you use your OS?

/me first. I use Fedora GNU/Linux distribution since Fedora Core 5 version. Before that I used Slackware from 8.1. And before 2004 I used Windows 98 SE.

I chose GNU/Linux OS because they are stabile, secure, modular, powerfull, high customisable, great usage of hardware resources, have services and scripting, have console for geek work and GUI for others, no viruses and worms, no windows, just penguin inside

I generally use xp for gaming and debian for just about anything else.
I like penguins.
The other browser is konqueror or lynx

have you tried leopard yet?
I'm no mac fan (putting it mildly) but leopard is pretty cool

No, I have only PC in place. I tried Vista in VirtualBox - damn that is truly lazzy OS :) With same virtual machine, XP SP3 fly like a charm (using XP for backup mobile phone by syncing with PIM, and other stuff Nokia PC Suite can do).

I use a preinstalled Vista on my laptop, which is the one I use most. It *******, so as soon as I get some time, I'll probably install a Linux version on it too.

Linux ftw!

Win XP - some software I need for work requires it. Before it I used to be on Win 2K - the best Win IMHO. :???:
The browser's Opera...

shumadija - Wed Jul 23, 2008 9:17 pm

Hey Bansho, does Opera have something like SnapLinks and AdBlock Plus?
bansho - Wed Jul 23, 2008 11:46 pm

Zdravo, komšija!
Opera has a built-in function similar to Snaplinks which shows all the links on a page - it's Links in the Tools menu and the shortcut is CTRL+ALT+L.
And there is a flashblocker too - http://my.opera.com/Lex1/...ock-for-opera-9. Instructions on how to enable it are in the text file inside the archive.

I use Windows XP or on the laptop Windows Vista. They are originally installed on the computers, that why I use them.

I use Mozilla Firefox. It is the best Internet browser....maybe Safari is also good, but it is originally for Mac's. I used it several times, but Firefox is easier.

I use windows XP, only one i've ever used on my computer

I have WinXP. I fluctuate between Firefox and Opera for browsers depending on what site I'm on. Some work better in Opera for me and others work better in Firefox.

I used to use MSIE exclusively until version 7 came out. 6 wasn't bad but 7 is the pits.

I'm an Opera Pansy - can't do anything till "the fat lady sings." Actually one of my favorite browsers, I've turned most of my clients on to it.

My hdd caused me some troubles today... :???:
So right now I'm running Slax from a USB flash. And Opera browser, of course.
It's amazingly good combination, I must say.

...I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 and Firefox. I also use Solaris. No Windows whatsoever here.
