Inconvenience.... yeah. Well we lost 11 points on our dynasty average and with the lost credits clicked from this morning's reset we are likely to lose a few more at the end of the day. Too bad when we were on a roll. Anyway... there is no way for me to determine the top clickers with the credits wiped out so we will resume tomorrow. Otherwise DJ wont have any credits left for when we reach m:i:300! ppj2005 - Tue Jul 01, 2008 2:23 pm I am sure people will understand that the averages today were manufactured and not earned through clicks. Because those clubs are based on merit they need to be earned. I would say the same applies for Bailey's competition. I am not sure how to fix it. I was trying to figure out how long it would take us to return to our normal averages from these elevated ones. I could work as a control since I always click around 500, plus or minus. Without working figures it would take about 2 weeks. At that time the 400 and 500 prizes could be awarded. chardonnay - Tue Jul 01, 2008 2:31 pm Normally the averages are based on a 10 day cycle. It may take that long for them to return to normal. As a guess I think Yarolds has either divided the 10 days worth of clicks by 8 instead of 10, or maybe multiplied everyones click count by 1.25 We'll just have to wait and see.

The dynasty average went down because he did a reset a few hours into the new day so it recalculated the average based on the clicks we had already done. If no one had clicked the dynasty average would have dropped a lot more... so we did not really lose 200 or 300 credits, they helped make sure the average didn't drop below 274. We lost 11 points in that average but I know some dynasties lost more. Now with our clicks carrying through we can regain our average and boost it. Those who clicked 500 yesterday shoot for the same. The contests will resume when we are back to normal days although I may award the top 2 clickers for today... depends on how hard I want to work figuring that out. jamiroquai_chic - Wed Jul 02, 2008 7:11 am I'm curious . . . Scratch what I said before about shooting for another 500. Another unusual reset leaves me once again without reliable numbers for contests. It really helps to have times for resets. |
