Post subject: What is the meaning of "<limit>"
After turnover there were a lot of people who had

<limit>

in lieu of a clickable link (or <-1>). What's that all about?

Thanks!

There will never be more then 50 links showing at any time on any page on the site.

The other links you can click will show as <limit>.

After clicking some or all the link, just refresh and there will be 50 again, untill all have been clicked.

whats the point of that?

Too many user were opening too many links at once. I single user was making 200+ request to the server that way. This was causing high serverload and the reason for the errors and lag you all experienced.
This new update allows users to open not more then 50 links at once.

Sorry to revive an older thread, but my question is relevant to the subject.

I've noticed a problem with the 50 limitation.

Let's say that I have two links (I do) and someone clicks both (as they should), then the person is listed twice because the referring link is from a different area (minicity, outwar, etc.). The problem is that when they are listed twice, all their links are listed twice. This is true for any number of links that a person might have. This doubling is affecting the 50 limit count.

example: 1 person with 4 links clicks both my links - the history lists 8 links. If there are links that I do not wish to click are listed before the limit is reached, then I do not get to see the links I do want to click because of the limit.

Since I cannot normally click a link twice, why should it be listed twice? Is there any way to change this?

Maybe there is something that can be done about this in future site development.

The new limits have meant I have had to change some of my long standing habits on the site also :razz: Even now its hard to remember to start from the top of the history list and work down.

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll add it to the list.
