Post subject: Outcraft click delay silliness
Hello to the mods. You an exceptional job here, thank you for all your hard work. I looked for this in the support board and was surprised not to find it; if already answered, my apologies and please close this thread.

My questions is simple: why must we wait five minutes between clicking outcraft links of different members?

I understand why you have to wait before clicking links from the same member, but on this board outcraft, and outcraft only, imposes this additional limitation which makes it quite difficult to do your daily click visits. Making matters worse, my outcraft timer keeps increasing because I inadvertently click more than one user link - can it be reset back to five minutes?

If other games had the same restriction it would render the board virtually useless, so an explanation would be very much appreciated.

Cheers!

We have a sticky for this. http://yarold.mine.nu/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1181

Games are on timers because they don't allow their links to be clicked more often. Only when we're sure a timer can be changed we will adjust it.

I understand that. Maybe my question wasn't clear enough.

Take outwar. User X has one outwar link, user Y has two, user Z has one. I can click User X's link, User Y's first outwar link, and User Z's link, wait five minutes, then click User Y's second link. Total elapsed time = 5 minutes.

Now, take outcraft. I have to click User X's link, then wait five minutes before clicking any other outcraft link in the entire system. Then I can click Y's first link, and again have to wait five more minutes before I can click Z's. Then five minutes after clicking Z's I can go back and click Y's second link. Total elapsed time = 15 minutes.

So, again, I understand why you have a delay, just not why it is so much more strict for outcraft than for any other game.

Different games have different rules.

Outwar and Outcraft are 2 different games.
