Metalteo - Sun Jan 08, 2006 1:24 am Basicly you're right, but virus scanners do also block spy-ware and add-ware. By some scanners they are market as trojans. I wouldn't worry too much about the alerts, it only means you virus scanner is doing it's work. Spy-ware and add-ware do not harm your computer, but nobody wants them. There other ways to get rite of them, with proggies like ad-aware and spybot S&D. A good all in 1 solution is hitman pro. |
