Check your computer for ad-warre and spy-ware, I think that's your problem. Thanatos - Fri Aug 26, 2005 8:27 am I run Mozilla Firefox (free download browser) with AdBlock and Cookie culler. I also use SpyBlaster (free) Spybot Search and Destroy (free) Sygate firewall with Etrust anti-virus (all free). In almost 1 year of Yarold's I've Never picked up a virus. Have had to deal with some nasty pop-unders, but I upgraded to the new firefox and it's been quite a while since any have shown up. All these things I used before coming to Yarold's - not because of this site. Also, if you must use IE - disable all Active X, which appears to be a backdoor for some major nuisance spyware/malware/adware. |
